I hate to be that dick who says this, but "urbanization" is a real problem in our society.

As it stands now, a large number of black Americans feel dead end stuck in their lot in the urban areas of our country, and there is little they can do to overcome it.

However,I would propose that's still more about class than color. Those of us that grew up in the rural sticks of Arkansas don't have it off any better. Most of us end up raising kids in a trailer, while very few of us end up much better off.

you can call it the white flight or capitalism

bottom line, the world moves on

the reason for the wider cap in income and wealth is because people in this country can easily prosper of the years...

but if a person is stuck in poverty, it just grows sidewides, it produces more responsibility it can't provide for...

for me it's about having babies out of wedlock...

how many black people do you know that are from single mom's who had 5 kids maybe more?

you can not move up in the life by having all that responsibility by yourself...it's darn near impossible to work at all...with that many kids

People say, we need to build better schools for poor communities

OK

well, I can tell you that a lot of teachers don't like being afraid of their students

they don't like working with students who don't want to be there, and there is little to zero parent involvement...

teachers want to make a difference, it's a tough deal

so we build the nicest, newest schools in the worst communities, hire the best teachers, over pay them...and not much would change

I really believe it wouldn't...because there isn't the support from home to encourage good behavior and hard work...

it's a broken deal....and yeah people move away from brokenness

is that oppression or me being free? Or is it I am privileged?

If my parents made better decisions, why does that make me privileged? How about the poor kid wasn't given the bare minimum he should have...put the blame where it belongs...?

here are two of my experiences with police, one, I was pullover by police simply because I was a young black man in a new and expensive car, I was 21 at the time. They claimed I fit the description of a car thief they were looking for, when they found out I was in the military i no longer fit that description. Second one was when someone called the police on me because I was walking around my house looking at some spots where birds were pecking at the siding, cops were cool, said someone called in a suspicious person report, I live in a neighborhood that's mostly white, could have been one of the 4 or 5 black families that live in the neighborhood of 300 houses that made the call i guess, I can go on, like not qualifying for loans that I know I should, or people following me around in a store when I just shopping. I can go on for days. I just don't let it get me down or stop my progress, or effect the way I treat white people because of a few bad apples.

Well, this is certain to be an unpopular opinion here, but the way you fix this moving forward is to return to a liberal arts foundation for public education at the high school level and even downward.

We need to be retraining thinkers, and the way you do that is teach them logic. Over and over. Make them read philosophy. Make them talk about philosophy. Stop educating knob turners.

Imo

I'm glad you shake it off...wise move

Most whites are aware these events happens to black men.

Why do you think it happens is my question. ?

Do you think it has anything to do with the images we all see on the news?

Blacks vote for one party...93%. This is not good...no diversity of thought? Really ? Makes no sense

Blacks Destroy black conservative thinkers.

Are black people asking us or police to stop stereotyping them in the face of all this violence?

I could list the statistics...

It all comes back to stable households...

That's oppressive or detrimental to progress...so are blacks suggesting whites are responsible ?

Oppressed suggests whites are doing something intentional or purposeful.

the blacks feel that the whites got the upper hand because the whites do most of the hiring ! when the blacks are doing the hiring they hire blacks .They would rather have laws to give them the upper hand , a short cut ! !

Absent fathers is a significantly bigger issue than racism.

Whatever they say it is, bro. Whatever they say it is.

In fact, they don't need to explain it -- you will either repeat the phrase and believe the concept -- OR ELSE.

The best and simplest way I have heard it defined:

In any society there are various "systems" such as Healthcare, Education, Legal, Finance, etc, etc....

Systemic Racism is by which inside these systems the rules, regulations and parameter are rigged in such a way that doesnt require any one individual in that system to be racist. But yet the system is rigged to produce an outcome that is "racist"

And its a load of crap. Find the clip of where Larry Elder just smacks Dave Rubin down with facts and data, and you will see.

Its a semi-famous Dave Rubin "red pill" moment
