Biden didn't do it for personal gain. The guy who the US was asking to be fired WASN'T investigating anything.
There was no active investigation into Burisma at the time of the firing.
Biden did it at the request of the US government, not his own whim. There were republicans who were also on board with the firing, as well as many countries and the IMF.
So your talking point of Biden doing the same thing for personal gain doesn't really hold up to the facts.
