No, it doesn't.

Look, I'm no Jihadist lover, but that's complete bull shite.

The first Amendment in the Bill of Rights protects freedom of religion.

So basically you're telling me a Muslim has the right to kill me? Are you really trying to say that?

What's funny is you all freak out when Christians want to have a prayer at a public school, a prayer no one is forced to participate in. But you're completely okay with a Muslim beheading me. Yeah got it.

DisplacedBuckeye you never did answer my question, with your experience in third world countries you want to bring that same mentality here?

You really want to make large parts of the U.S. essentially the same as a third world country? That's what will happen with uncontrolled illegal immigration.

I would hope if there's one thing we can agree on neither one of us want to live in third world conditions.

where in the bible does it say to blow up the infidels? Where does it say in the bible to behead those who do not believe in Christianity?

Deuteronomy 13
If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.
12 If you hear it said about one of the towns the Lord your God is giving you to live in 13 that troublemakers have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods you have not known), 14 then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, 15 you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. You must destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock. 16 You are to gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. That town is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt.

Right ab dere^

Unless you're gonna say that was the Old Testament and not relevant to today's Christianity, in which I'll drop out due to you ignoring half the book.

I don't need to do that. The number is great than zero, which makes you wrong.

Its not ignoring half the book, you're ignoring the entire motive for the new testament. So, in fact, you're the one omitting obvious important information in the narrative.

I absolutely answered the question. You still haven't pointed out where I support illegal immigration or any of the other presumptions you've made.

Okay, now you're obviously just trolling. It's very low...

How do these uneducated poor survive in this country? Poor adults with no education, no job skills, etc. How do they make a living?

What I said unequivocally is that the Bill of Rights protects against discrimination based on religion.

It's the 1st Amendment for a reason. And any moron that thinks that their anger towards any particular religion justifies superseding a stalwart of the constitution is a complete buffoon.

Of course what you forget is that the Old Testament did come before Jesus Christ, so while we do look at the Old Testament, like the New Testament we don't take the words literally. As a Catholic the priest interprets what the message means and how we should apply it to modern day times. As Catholics largely came as a result of Jesus Christ New Testament messages are given more weight than messages from the Old Testament.

Muslims on the other hand, unlike Christians, literally do take the Koran word for word and literally. Can you not see the difference?

Many Imams will either quietly or publicly in their congregations talk about committing acts of terrorism. Let me know when a Catholic priest does the same thing.

You're nothing but a troll.

If everyone on the board said that the sky is blue, you'd argue against it.

Basically, you're a fricking twat.

Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.

- Jesus

But you've already learned how to circumnavigate the logic and twist this into a different meaning in a bible study so it's pointless. You're going to believe what you want and it's fine, but that's the writing and it's pretty clear. The Old Testament is the reason many in this board still think being gay should be punishable by an eternity in hell. Also hell wasnt around till gentle Jesus meek and mild came along in the NT, so saying they're not intertwined is bogus and I won't put up with it.

Just making stuff up now I see. Again, as your atheist friends like to point out, freedom of religion ends when it interferes with my freedoms. A Muslim can tell me they hate me all they want, that's freedom of speech and freedom of religion, but they do not have the right to act on it like Sharia law would like them to.

I know some Christians that believe in creationism.

Catholic priests did worse by systematically preying on innocent children for sexual gratification and the Church protected them.

Seriously, if I'm going to be known as a religion, I'd rather be a zealot terrorist than a fricker of 8 year old boys.
