Absentee or vote early in person. A)down ballot matters. I checked my precinct’s ballot online so I could make sure I knew the positions of those running for school board, city council, etc. This election’s local DA is next election’s state AG and then it’s on to the senate and being picked for VP of the US. You gotta nip the empty vessels and crazy ideologues in the bud! B)one vote closer to closing the “national popular vote” gap. It needs to be narrowed or we will have to listen to Dems yammer endlessly about ending the electoral college. C)it’s your God-given right, exercise it!

This is what apathy looks like. It takes 10-15 minutes to vote, a right countless men and women have died to protect for you. The LEAST you could do is go click the button on Election Day or during your county’s early voting. It sounds like all you’re really looking for is a group of strangers on the internet to tell you it’s okay to be a lazy schmuck.

We need the popular vote, too, so there can be no doubt. Every Trump supporter should vote. Note: I live in Alabama also, in a county where Trump won by 89.7%. I’m still voting.

The last 20 years have given people a lot of reason to be apathetic.

Nothing changes, except for the worst.

I'm sorry but that was hilarious and I literally laughed out loud. Although I would never say that, it was a good sarcastic retort.

With that said, get your arse to the polls and vote. Alabama may be a patriot state but the national count helps to prove cheating if it gets out of hand.

And that’s exactly what the baddies are counting on, the broken will of the American people.

Your lack of effort is an affront to those who codified and protected your right to vote. It's a sign of low character.

If you look at who gets the nominations and gets elected, its pretty apparent that most of us have no actual representation

If you're that unmotivated, I'm not sure you're serious enough of an adult to exercise your voting privileges.

This is an excuse. The most practical way I can convince you is to remind you the democrats are actively campaigning against the electoral college. Why even let them want that?

Go vote.

Personally, I would feel unpatriotic if I didn’t vote but I could have. There’s been a lot of blood spilled to give us a republic and that right to vote. Depending on the way things go, we might not be able to vote in the future.

I can never respect anyone that doesn't vote no matter the scenario.

Do you understand how many illegal/Mexican votes will happen this time?

Even if the only thing you do is have YOUR voice seen. Be seen and heard and let your enemy know you're there and aren't a lazy piece of shite. Proactive people that care are their biggest enemy.

This! Can you count the number of Americans that gave their life so that you might have the freedom to vote? Please don’t look at it like it’s no big deal. You mattered to them.

Any other election.. sure

But this election determines if America stays a free nation or if America turns into a communist shithole

You can still help with the popular vote.

Well, it certainly doesn’t change by staying home on Election Day. Nobody wants to hear this, but it’s going to take people finding legitimate, quality candidates and working their asses off to get them elected. But, it’s a lot of work, so it likely won’t happen. People would rather stay home and complain than actually work to fix the problem.
