They are more enthusiastic than before.. ok

I think there’s a small difference of enthusiasm or lack of energy by Trump supporters on Facebook. Four years ago there were a lot of different MAGA posters posting a few times a week. This year it’s the same 2 guys that post everyday. I’ve not seen any for Harris
When it gets closer to November there will probably be more on social media.

And you haven’t seen your own penis in 30 years. So what?

I legit saw my first (and only) Harris yard sign a couple of weeks ago. It was a predominantly AA neighborhood outside Columbia, SC. Other than that, the only Harris adverts I've seen have been online / on-air. I also don't recall any Biden signs from this cycle--only a few bumper stickers from 2020.
OTOH, you just about can't throw a rock without hitting a Trump sign.

There are currently 5,524 people watching Harris' speech in New Hampshire on her youtube channel.
Enthusiasm!
ETA: looking at multiple channels showing this speech there may be 10,000 people watching.

Yeah, I guess we should just stay home and not vote since it doesn’t matter. Some of you people are such defeatist pussies. That French blood runs deep. I always thought it was isolated to sports fandom, but I guess not.
Hey cuntbag, nowhere in my reply did I say I wasn’t going to vote or suggest that people should stay home. I just think the fix is in.
Maybe don’t start a thread asking for people’s thoughts if you’re gonna saturate your tampon when somebody has an opinion you don’t like.

Imagine getting “very excited” to vote for Kamabla/Walz

I think you're right on. l live in a blue area, and I am not seeing anything close to the number of Harris-Walz stickers etc. as I saw Biden-Harris four years ago. I am also not sensing anywhere near the level of animus toward Trump that existed in 2020 or 2016. Don't get me wrong; I don't expect any of these folks to pull the lever for Trump, but it strikes me as a reasonably good indication that Democratic enthusiasm is down from the last election cycle. Contrast that with trips to the suburbs and rural areas, where the level of Trump support can seem almost comically high.

Oh, I enjoy when you people add your opinion.
I just think the “they’re gonna steal it anyway” people are defeatist pussies is all.

Always look at actions.
They left is absolutely not as engaged as the right. Kamala is running on scaring and terrifying. That is trying to elicit a response. They want more people to engage.
Every speech.. every stop. “Be afraid!! We would never recover from….!!! Danger to democracy!!! The world will burn!!!!”
No original policy that she hasn’t backtracked on or borrowed from Trump. Just scaremongering.
That tells you they know people will be sitting this one out. So they need to program them to action.

Everyone needs to realize that they don’t need to physically vote … the DNC just needs them to register to vote with the same address as their NGO’s operate from. The ballots are filled out and signed.

You always have to add in the swings state cheat factor......it WILL happen.

Are you not bothered by mass mail in voting? Do you think the Dems play that hand straight or do you think they take advantage of the blind spot they created?
They did it once. What, in your brilliant opinion, is going to stop them this time?

Yeah, it bothers me. But what I’m seeing from the GOP in states like Pennsylvania is encouraging. They at least say they’re going to play the game this cycle instead of sitting on the bench and crying while they do nothing.

Enough people voting that they can’t manufacture enough votes to win. That’s where you come into play.
The more you people post your woe is me, helpless, “they’re gonna steal it” drivel, the less enthusiastic people are to get out and vote. That is the opposite of what we need. Think it if you want. Believe it if you want. Don’t drag other people down with you. Not everybody is resilient enough to go vote when they feel that way.

Would love to see this. Hopefully it’s more than just lip service from them.

Valid point. You should have led with this response. You’re correct in that vocal negativity can kill excitement and turn folks off. But so can name calling, finger pointing and posturing yourself up on a perch looking down at others thoughts and opinions. We are on the same team here.

The emboldened parts are worth paying attention to. The whole "deep state" thing and whether or not it played a part in the last election no longer matters. The opposition doesn't need a "deep state" to beat him this time around.
When it comes to reproduction, even conservative women are fed the frick up with men telling them what to do with their goddamn bodies and what's inside them. Fundamentally, women know abortion is a fricked up thing to do, but it's become a metaphor for this..."You're not the boss of me".
I personally believe the willful, mechanical termination of a healthy human pregnancy is an abhorrent and unnatural act, but you know who doesn't give a shite what I think? Women, that's who.
I don't vote based on abortion, because I really don't care. Women are going to do what they want to do, and i have zero interest in controlling them. The issue is a purposeful political distraction, and when it comes to my vote, it's not a part of the political debate.
Pretty well said. I haven't really heard that take on abortion, but it makes pretty sense. People, not just women, don't like being told what they can and can not do.

I think this is almost certainly true, but you left out the enthusiasm of the anti-Trump vote.
