Build a wall around them so no one can get in or out. Turn the power, water, and cable off in that small little sector. Then, see how long they last.

They clearly did not think about tomorrow or even their next move. The typical irrational person!

When it comes time to round them up and put them in jail, you will know where to find them.

This gives me an idea for a movie. "Escape From Seattle". I'm thinking Kurt Russell for the lead.

If they decide to live in an AutoZone they lose their US voting rights.

I'd be all for that.

Most cities already had something like that: they are called projects.

Kind of sounds familiar! So we have Snake Plissken, but who would play The Duke?

New Orleans should do this. Bring them all out to the abandoned Six Flags park.

It's all yours, kids. Have fun.

They are no more autonomous than my 10 year old daughter who storms off to her room until dinner time.

Look, I've said before, I'm all for letting them ban police and burning their cities down. Let them all go Full Somalia. Just demand that OUR people wall those cities off, a'la Escape from New York.

If I were the benevolent dictator-Leave them alone. Make sure guns and gasoline and heroin and fentanyl can enter freely. Set up barriers and choke points to protect property owners outside the zone. Give everyone a week to vacate . All children are ordered out. Those who stay assume personal responsibility for their welfare. Nothing comes out without inspection. No police or fire intervention allowed. Sit back and enjoy the self-inflicted carnage.

What happens when they leave their zone? Can they go back??

They shouldn't be allowed to leave, why should they be allowed to leave their autonomous zone? They're autonomous, they don't need the outside help.

What happens when the zones grow and take over more space?

Don't let it grow. Wall it off and secure it. They're locked in, that is what they wanted, give it to them.

Meh, if they want to live in their own compound and be self-supportive then start cutting the umbilical cord. Cease power, water, sewage, food, and all other outside amenities. Let's see how they do now.

The second they lose power and thus lose their cell phones, 99% of them will want out.

Before you do that, we should offer to help fortify their walls, and put up a real fence around the entire place. And when you get through doing this, add locks from the outside and then cut the utilities.
