When commentators build entire platforms where 80–90 % of their material centers on demonizing Israel while ignoring comparable or worse atrocities elsewhere, it’s no longer reasoned critique—it’s obsession, a hallmark of prejudice.
This is definitely the strangest phenomenon
It makes perfect sense when you consider the control Israel has over our politicians. Of course people are going to be more concerned with a country that takes our money, owns our politicians, and pushes illegal immigration and hate speech on us. If Israel left us alone and stopped being a leech, most people wouldn't care how many gazans they killed.
All the people that obediently submit to Israel always ignore their influence when pretending they're just innocent victims in everything.
All the Isreal defenders also ignore that Israel is guilty of most of what they are being accused of. Israel defenders are the right's progressives crying "racism." Any criticism of a jew or Israel, no matter how valid, is "antisemitism" to these people.

If Hamas(and the majority of Palestinians in Gaza)had the ability to kill every Jew, they would. THAT would be genocide. Isreal eradicating savages that use "innocents" for human shields is not genocide. Keep in mind, those "innocents" are willingly allowing themselves to be used as human shields.

I liked your post for the most part, but I have two objections.
1. How is it that a person who can write such a perspicacious post can write, “Antisemitism isn’t bigotry. It’s an actual brain virus that literally infects people. This has been proven throughout history”? That is complete nonsense. Every word of it is 100% wrong. In an otherwise thoughtful post, this stands out as though someone stole into your room, during one of your bathroom breaks, and inserted that.
2. You leave out the fact that Jews have gained a disproportionate influence over American government and are siphoning off resources to Israel. I wish Israel well, since they are civilized people and the only democracy in their neighborhood, but I am pissed off that my tax dollars are funding it.
Anyway, thoughtful post that I like with these two exceptions.

this is how the Nazis somewhat justified the Holocaust. But instead of Jews holding people hostage in the way Hamas is, they held the nation of Germany hostage through monetary policy.
Germany was held hostage by the victors in WW1. Your quote above is reinforcing Geekboy’s OP.

The UN started yelling "Genocide" when the first Israeli bomb dropped.
The UN refuses to recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization.
The UN worked hand-in-hand with known Hamas terrorists as a rule of its operations in Gaza.
The UN has continued to work with known Hamas members throughout the war, even dismissing or outright refusing to acknowledge some of it's own allies participating in the October 7 attack.
The UN, under Trump's "20 point plan", will be entrusted to continue leading and organizing the aid/relief efforts in Gaza post-war.
Under Trump's "20 point plan" any Hamas member still breathing will be allowed to stay in Gaza under the "Trust me, bro plan". Even known terrorist combatants will be allowed to remain in Gaza as long as they pinky promise not to get involved in any shenanigans going forward.
Under Trump's "20 point plan" thousands of terrorist Hamas members and supporters currently in Israeli detention will be set free and allowed to return to and live in Gaza.
Trump's "20 point plan" in no way forces the UN to recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization, nor does it effectively abolish Hamas as a group in Gaza. It does forbid it from being involved in Gazan leadership going forward. Though, how realistic that will be is debatable.

israel is almost exclusively about them vetting our politicians/citizens and having outsized influence in our country so that we fund their lil squabbles but nice try.
There is not a single proof that Israel has outsized influence in our country. Same thing could be said about Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib to Qatar and Iran, but you decide to single Jews out… I wonder why?

I can safely say the conservative propaganda has worked on you. Israel and the Jews are not your friend.

How you define that victory is likely the problem.
And those rules are universal, I reckon. One thing that should be understood by now is a small guerilla insurgency on its own turf is not something you can eliminate without...well, genocide.
*ETA: and I am nowhere near a pro-Palestine guy or a guy who thinks "Palestine" ever really existed (at least since Rome), and think Israel is right to respond to events like 10/7. However, there is a line in that response where it goes too far and becomes genocide.
What many miss is Bibi was in serious political trouble when 10/7 happened. There were massive protests in Tel Aviv only a few days prior to the Nova attack.
Many in Israel don't think he has been sincere in his effort to get the hostages released and has used this conflict to hold on to power.
What we are seeing is overly excessive collective punishment.

You're conflating Hamas with the civilians who have no association with Hamas
Hamas is still in hiding in tunnel complexes.
You think Palestinians are clueless as to where these complexes are?
They’ve had ample time to tell Israel, “Here’s the tunnel entrances, please quit blowing everything up”.
You’re falling for Hamas propaganda. According to them, the entire country is malnourished and starving to death. Yet restaurants remain open, and a picture popped up on X a few days ago showing Palestinians with nets full of fish, they were in clean clothes, none were emaciated. In fact a couple appeared to be obese.

That is true too, but all you need to do is watch a few AH rallies to hear the same justification used against Jews as well. When he references “international banksters and globalists”, he’s not solely referring to England, France, etc as nation states, he’s referring to “those who don’t have a home and make their homes today in Brussels, Paris, and tomorrow Berlin” - this is a direct quote from one of his rallies at the Siemens plant in 1933. Happy to link to it, as long as I don’t get in trouble for it

No need to link it. I know what Adolf Hitler campaigned on. And it’s not that there wasn’t a basic truth to it - the jews did have an ethos that permitted a certain financial behavior that was proscribed to Christians of that day. But that was a small part of it. Mainly the Jews just out-compete everyone else. That’s why they are hated. The same people on here who despise affirmative action hate the jews for no other reason than they are smarter and/or harder working.
There is a current motive for anti-semitism that is ephemeral in nature, and that is the disproportionate political influence Jews have achieved in American politics. And this has allowed them to make the American taxpayer underwrite Israel. That needs to stop ASAP.

The genocide against Israel has already begun. If we don’t support Israel, the Muslims will kill every last Israeli.

Is it though? I mean, they didn't have to vote for Hamas, did they? And they didn't have to launch that attack, did they?
I mean, we all agree that Bibi has a reasonable mandate to end Hamas once and for all, at least from his constituents, don't we?
