Charlie was a good man who led a good life and influenced thousands, possibly more, in a beneficial way.
And he was murdered because some people didn’t like him and what he said.
And some people believe he deserved to be murdered and some people celebrate it.
Everything about that murder and those who revel in it reeks of spite, evil, darkness.
Everything about Charlie and his life represented faith, goodness, light.
I’ll just leave one quote from Charlie that I watched him say to a young trans person recently…
“I think it’s better for you to focus on accepting yourself and liking yourself, surrounding yourself with positive and constructive people and things, and not pumping yourself with dangerous chemicals and pills and mutilating your body in an attempt to change yourself that way, to make yourself something you’re not. I think you’re good just the way you are now, the way God made you, and it would be good for you to focus on what God wants for you in your life.”
