Actually, no. Everything looks fine and everyone seems cheerful despite the country not implementing any lockdowns during the COVID hysteria.

Remember how most of the freedom loving US folded like a cheap tent?

It was the employers pushing the shot that make a lot cave. I refuse to call it a vaccine because it isn’t one.

That depressed me so much to see how people just willingly accepted that.

Me to. I was honestly shocked to see how many people really do not want to be free. It seems counterintuitive to me

Sweden did have lockdowns, just not nearly as extensive as ours. There were prohibitions on large gatherings. But they allowed individuals to decide for themselves if they were going out in public, etc.

Your implied point is legitimate; they handled it more liberally than most other developed nations, and they did not have worse results. Sweden stands as strong evidence that the rest of us overreacted.

Restriction What Sweden did
Public gatherings Limited to 500 people in March 2020, then 50, and eventually just 8 in November 2020.
Restaurants and bars Remained open, but required seated service, distancing, and limits on table sizes.
Restaurant hours Required restaurants to stop on-site service at 8:30 p.m. beginning March 2021.
Alcohol sales Banned alcohol service after 10 p.m. in November 2020, tightened to 8 p.m. in December.
Schools Preschools and compulsory schools generally stayed open. Upper-secondary schools and universities used remote instruction during parts of the pandemic.
Nursing homes Banned visits nationwide from April through September 2020.
Shops and gyms Generally remained open, but faced capacity restrictions beginning January 2021.
Public facilities Closed some publicly operated museums, swimming pools, and other nonessential facilities temporarily.
International travel Restricted entry from certain countries and subsequently required vaccination or testing documentation for some travelers.
Vaccination certificates Introduced requirements for certain large public events beginning in late 2021.

Wrong. It was the Biden government threatening to cancel all federal contracts and new orders business with businesses deemed to not be requiring employees to be jabbed. Businesses were under duress and intimidation.

My employer implemented a get the shot or get charged a fee every week for not taking the shot. Lasted about 2 years before they removed it from my check. Still can’t believe they did that shite.
