I do. Things like firing folks we need in the DOE responsible for the nuclear stockpile.... These guys really aren't doing their homework and are just cutting to cut.

US Marshals, like ICE, seem like the last good guys out there. Has the woke garbage affected y’all like the rest of the fedgov, or have y’all been able to avoid it?
Edit: I forgot Ruby Ridge. I (mistakenly) thought that was only ATF & FBI. But I'd be surprised if RazorBroncs had anything to do with that.

US Marshal to be exact. Is that a "real job" or not? Is it a "real job" when I put my life on the line every day to protect ungrateful shits like you and put bad people away to protect your community and family? Or am I just "sucking at the government teat?"
Like that time when y’all shot Randy Weaver’s dog, wife and 14 year old son because the government fricked up his court dates. That’s some heroic shite there.
Why knock on the man’s door and explain your business with him when you can spec ops LARP in the woods on the taxpayers dime?

False. 85% of federal employees live OUTSIDE of DC. I swear, some of you rattle off false claims just to be part of the conversation and you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.

Buddy, my mailman is “the common man”. I’m not saying they should not reform, or get rid of, the USPS, but they have ordinary schmucks just making a living throughout government.

Javier Milei is doing it in Argentina on a much larger scale, and he is popular.

Thank you, nearly 90% voted dem. And I bet you we gain far more independents votes who are appalled that these people would be employed in the first place.

I think they are doing it correctly:
Offer packages first
Get rid of probationary workers. You know you have a problem, why would you keep adding to it
Cut entire agencies that never should have existed
Selectively cut immediately where you know you have troublemakers, FBI, immigration judges
Now, you let Musk do his thing and show the waste in each department. You cabinet is in place. Let them get to work cutting the fat off the departments you keep. I am certain you will have "eddie haskell" suck ups, and some real whistle blowers, both will show you where to cut ....start with the eddie haskells.

Trump has never been known to use a scalpel when a broad-axe is available....

And where do you think these higher ups come from? The streets? The private sector? The common lower level federal workforce?

With you on bringing down the "big" guys but I don't think it's an either/or kind of thing.
I work in government and man, there are some lazy and entitled fricks who are wasting taxpayer dollars just by signing in everyday. I've also been invited to some groups in the fed and they very much have shown they do not give a shite about this country or its people. I get that some people might be angry with PDJT but the country is honestly, more important than all of their bs worries.
We are 37+ trillion dollars in debt!
I'm not MAGA much at all tbh. I don't give one frick about the "moral" culture wars. You can call the Gulf of America what you like. I don't give two shits about that. But, what PDJT and Musk are doing is a positive step in the direction of getting us closer to getting out of debt.
I know the debt is a lot and of course, barring some miracle, we won't get completely out of it in the next 10-15 years but they do have us moving in that direction. Can you imagine if Kamala had been elected? It wouldn't be addressed.
Anyways, I'm grateful that my area of work, the DOD, has so far and may be spared but to be perfectly honest, if it's determined that my job has to go because it is not needed, I'll be ok with it. This country matters more. I can find very equivalent work in the market place paying about the same or probably better and so can those ordinary govt. joe's.
There's a lot of people on the tit and they must get off of it.
The country must come first.

I hate it, but its inevitable when you are dealing with this huge a problem some 'good" people will lose. Especially knowing the upper ups are not going to protect you when they are being targeted also.

A lot are appointed and do their damage while in there. Snakes can rise anywhere. Where do big pharma executives come from? Chemical executives? These are just a few industries where people were doing bad shite and didn't care. But according to many on this board it's private sector and they make a profit so it's different.

I do. Mostly waiting for the indictments from their revelations

I'm expecting to see the DOJ begin to investigate some of the waste, fraud, and corruption being exposed. The widespread corruption will probably be a good opportunity for RICO charges.
Once some of those responsible are serving prison sentences, it will set a new standard for how how things are done and serve as a deterrent.
