The product isn't that great to begin with, and has been in a rapid decline the last few years. If the whole league doesn't respect our country or its principles, then I don't see why I should go to games, watch it on TV, or play fantasy football. It really won't be hard to completely shut it out.

True. Aside from the fact that the league is filled with a bunch of pussies who are making $6MM a year to play a game but still want to cry about how badly they're getting screwed, the product is truly awful. The brand of football in the NFL right now is like watching paint dry

I'm about done with it, too. The wholesale disrespect for America is only the icing on the cake. Do I acknowledge their right to defile our country? Yes, I sure do. But now that so many America haters have outed themselves, why continue supporting an organization that has frankly only become marginally entertaining anyway?

Who do they think goes to their games, watches their games, and purchases their merchandise? Average Joe that's who. If I want to watch politics I simply turn on a political channel on tv. When I want to watch sports, I want to watch sports and I don't want to see politics. Let's see how political they feel when they start taking a hit in the pocket book.

Your choice. It's a free country. Remember?

A lot of people don't watch a football game to have religion shoved at them, either, but if Tim Tebow and all the multitude of others who inject a "thank God" into every good play they make or good game they play were being called "son of a bitch" by the President of the United States, who also added they should be fired, you'd go out of your mind.

The players made a silent protest that should have been no big deal to anybody. The President made it a big political issue.

Nuts, you are literally one of the most trump deranged people I have ever seen irl or on the internet. There is nothing trump related that you haven't melted over.
You might need to revaluate your life.

How is this not a Trump issue when he was literally addressing it 2 days ago?

Nuts4LSU was the only reason I voted Trump.

Well when Bill Maher did it to Timmy, he was hailed as a hero. Have you completely forgetting the Tebowing meme from 2012? Have you completely forgotten how much shite he got from the media for that?

You want him to take all these pussy football players away? What will you do without Ingram and all his greatness?

I agree with your sentiments but will still watch the games on TV when I want - the only issue I have with how this unfolded is that I had no say in the matter. I'd have preferred to let it lie and instead TRUMP decided to press it.

I will defer to my God Emperor (after all, I am a mere mortal and he is half-man, half-deity), but I'm a little sad.

People on the internet make memes of everything. That's not even close to the same as the president calling people names and saying they should be fired for protesting.

It's a common strategy to do so much bad stuff that people get desensitized to it and just let it pass without calling it out. I don't see any reason to give Trump a pass for his stupid shite just because he does 10 stupid things a day.

This was a dying thing in the NFL

Trump made it about him and into a huge deal again

His supporters will claim it's some offensive move in the culture war, but I really don't want to have to defend Trump's every move because he makes himself synonymous with the flag.
