You will just be wasting your money IF the company has a mandatory vaccine policy.

If you sue them for harassment, you'll probably be wasting your money as well...don't forget if you lose, you'll have to cover the companies legal cost as well, which could be massive depending on the company. Big company lawyers aren't cheap.

Aside from some health care systems I am unaware of any private company who has instituted a written COVID vaccination policy.

The SEC's new written policy of 80%+ has me thinking large company's will just piggy-back off of this model.

Participate in malicious compliance. Carry a measuring tape extended to 7 feet with you and "accidentally" knock things off of desks and counters. Then, yell every time you talk to make sure you can be heard over the distance.

If the company implements an attestation policy, then you must show proof of vaccination to remove the mask. If you haven’t provided proof and you remove the mask, you can absolutely be terminated for violating the policy.

A sign on the door is not an attestation policy.

It is my understanding the state you reside in has to adopt that law.

This started in CA as a means to let people work maskless if they "self-attest".

Because if it works, a big if, and they genuine believe covid is as bad as the fearmongers claim, they don’t want to pay for a workforce full of people missing work for something avoidable. Once you accept their bogus premise, which all of the MSM has been pushing, this becomes the logical conclusion if you care about your bottom line unless the OP has some sort of special skill set that can’t be found easily elsewhere

Don't think this is a thing in Louisiana which is why we're such a litigious tort law state, #1 per capita. But your point about throwing good money after bad on some harassment lawyer is absolutely true.

Shareholders sure as hell can and do.

I think healthcare should be de-coupled from employment. But in the current system I'm definitely for incentives for practicing healthy habits. In the covid context, getting your vax means you can take off your mask in person.

Yeah, you only pay 20% more for health coverage.

But you know, smoking isn't an infectious disease so apples and oranges.

I don't think a state has to pass a law first. We have had several customers implement attestation policies that are not in areas with attestation laws in effect.

I will ask our HR and Legal departments today for clarification on this point.

Hypothetically speaking, If Walmart were to implement an attestation policy for employees working at HQ in Bentonville AR. (AR passed a state law prohibiting cities from passing mask mandates, but allowing companies to do their own thing). And you were to violate WM's HQ attestation policy, I'm 99.99% sure WM would nuke you.

Smoking status is a rate-able thing for Life, but I think the ACA removed smoking as an underwriting mechanism for major medical.

I would hire BeNotDeceivedGal6_7 with her mile long list of credentials and her get to beat them down with her tons and tons of links from distinguished doctors that say the vaccine will kill you. Prepare a will and a death switch, oh and polish up that resume. BeNotDeceivedGal6_7 will beat them down with persistence if nothing else.

Continue to document EVERYTHING. If they do fire you, you have a lawsuit. The tides are changing on this dangerous vaccine.

Bullies will pay for their intimidation, threats and actions.

I hope I am on a jury someday for one of these cases.

How much money has smoking cost the US over the last few decades?

NOW TAKE THAT SHOT THATS NOT APPROVED OF BY THE FDA AND YOU CAN'T SUE IF IT KILLS OT MAIMS YOU!!!

I'd be for having companies fire employees over the vax if they get to have a dog in the hunt and can be sued if complications arise.

I’m not familiar with that policy but this is just more bullshite and churn that costs money.

Most companies I know consider HR a pure overhead expense and I am willing to bet most aren’t looking to expand that department and create a “COVID tracking” branch of it.
