Downvote away, but I gotta call it like it is here. Some of y'all are acting like LSU/a&m fans before the bama/LSU game, respectively. Lots of threads that come off like you're trying to convince yourself rather than the reader.

Man up.

Fair, but one side has been melting for months. The other one has started to drip.

What am I supposed to be fearing? Life is good. Trump not Hillary or the last jackass is president. That is not going to change until the next election and probably not even then.

As a Trump supporter I can't help but sit back and laugh about half the country and 90% of the media keeping up with the "Trump is a Russian plant" narrative. It's as funny as it is delusional.

What is the worst case scenario for Trump? I have literally never heard a liberal explain what the potential devastating "Russian ties" could be.

I have had a moment of "oh shite" but when you actually look at this, there was nothing done illegally even though there is a lot of outrage from the left. This is more so the left grabbing a political foothold as quickly as possible.

Colbert's audience was an actual good representation of the country. They applaud him being fired until they are told what to think. FBI will go along with any investigations as usual.

It's pretty obvious what actually happened. Trump got pissed comey announced Russia investigation and wouldn't investigate leaks. Looked for reason to fire and used Rosenstein as a plausible reason. This whole "firing because investigation getting too hot" is BS

There was a thread earlier mocking liberals' obsession with impeachment, so I guess that?

Not sure what their endgame is.

I want to downvote you because your post is vague and could be referring to either side, but I also want to upvote you because your post is vague and could be referring to both sides.

Ehhh. Full disclosure. If I were a Trump supporter capable of being honest with myself (that's a small cross-section of folks) I'd be concerned. I'm not sure how far this will go, but there's no way to construe it as good. And he just contradicted his Deputy AG and the rest of his staff in a televised interview.

At best, the whole crew is fricking amateur hour and they will continue to be vulnerable to this issue going forward.

At worst, who knows where it goes. As someone said yesterday, once investigators start looking around, they tend to find stuff. And all administrations/businesses/big-time players have skeletons. Remember Hillary's whole server issue was just a by-product of another investigation.

Trump is a billionaire with business and personal ties all over the world and associations in Big labor, the Casino industry, NY/NJ machine politics, etc. He weathered a lot during the campaign, but that doesn't mean there isn't more to find.

All of the posts of "this is officially over" and "we now know there's nothing to see here" reek of desperation and willful, but unsuccessful, self-delusion.
