I'm a millennial, too. Best to just ignore the generation-based stuff. It's always insanely stupid.

Alrighty.
Okay, if you want to kick my arse, here's what you do:
I'm just outside your town. Just go down main street (whatever that is, you know where main street is, I'm sure). When you get out of town, go about a mile. When you see a big rock, make a left.
Go down about a half-mile, then turn right at the tree with a big limb.
You are almost there. Go down that road about two thirds of a football field. I'm waiting patiently.
Oh yeah, I don't have an address, so you can't use GPS.
But I know you'll be able to find me, so I'm resigned to getting my butt kicked.
Oh yeah, if I go to the convenience store for a beer, that is like a mile away tops. Just hang loose and I'll get back to you.
(BTW, this is sarcasm, I hope it is not too experimental or Wes Anderson or something.)

Lost me here. So, to you, all baby boomers and gen x are liberals?
What I'm saying is that all generation s have people that suck. Not just millennials. And all generation s have good hardworking people.

GenX is far more respectable than either the Boomers or Millennials
There was an article released this week that argued that the early portion of the millennials - those born from 1980-1988 - are even more fiscally conservative and socially stable than Generation X.

Yeah but that doesn't fit with narratives people love to cling to so you're spinning your wheels here
Bottom line: older generation generally ALWAYS thinks the younger is a bunch of precocious, lazy bastards, and the younger generally always thinks the older screwed the world up royally.
Rinse and repeat

You kinda went the roundabout way of saying it though huh?
I'm a baby boomer and I'll be the first to admit that my generation has sure had its share of frickups.
Problem for most generations has been the urban city dwellers. It hasn't particularly been as much of a generational thing as a rural and suburb vs urban city dweller thing imho.
Bottom line is we've been headed this way every since the Yankees won the civil war and it accelerated in 1919 with the 1st - 7th aaliyah from Russia. Once they began arriving, and most people don't realize that only 10% of them landed in Israel, the other 90% landed on Ellis Island well into the 40s .... what is happening now was inevitable.
Hollywood fell in the 50s along with all the major newspapers and TV networks. By the 60s the universities were falling and by the 70s it was HSs then middle and elementary schools under the newly minted Department of Education.
Women's Suffrage helped to topple a lot of things because urban women voted far left progressive. FDR really set the 60s into motion 20 years before they happened.
It's very easy to trace. It's not so much about generations as it is about the coastal big cities vs the flyover states.
There is only one way this will end .... one way or the other.

You are correct sir.
There have always been young folks who take responsibility and others not so much.
I was a 60's young adult. I never identified with 60's Radicals.
My boys are Gen Xers. They and their classmates, that I am aware of, are productive citizens.
Judge the person and not the group.

I came up with the most random name I could think of in the spur of the moment.
Sounds like you beat me to it by about 70 years.
