I have no idea, I'm not into Satanism. Ultimately, it amounted to little to nothing.

Well you're the one telling us the people who act like satanists aren't really satanists.

Gotcha. Church hymns and school fight songs move people, but not Marilyn Manson songs.

Oh he just kinda influenced some disaffected 90s kids to trend that way. Small tentacle on a big octopus. From Robert Johnson to Kim Kardashian they all sold their soul to the devil for fame. Yeah some are actually talented, but Elvis was talented AND he degenerated and corrupted the youth culture. Those are the ones who will always be selectively promoted. The old timers bringing up panic over groups from the past are proving the wrong point. The music keeps getting more and more devilish and nihilistic, the pop culture becomes shittier and shittier, the family values and morality of people sinks and sinks. Those stuck up old fogies we laugh at in the movies who run in the gym and scream that this newfangled rock n roll is the devil's music, if you could instantly transport them to today and show them the music and the state of our society, well, they'd say they were proven right.

He also never encouraged mayhem like Travis Scott did, I pray to Christ that he is held criminally liable for inciting that hell pit, if it was up to me, he'd never perform again

SEK posted a video above of Scott encouraging crowd violence during the Houston concert:

VIDEO LINK: Video of Travis Scott spitting at fan, telling crowd to ‘F–k him up!’ goes viral…
This is from 2015 in Switzerland. Try again.

As noted above, Scott indeed has had a long history of encouraging violent mayhem at his concerts:

Travis Scott Had Long History Of Inciting Chaos At Concerts Before Houston Stampede….
That is radically different than saying he "cheered on the death of his fans" in Houston. Just stop.

It is not my intention to victim shame but my question is what parent would think that such a show is a proper place for a child? And I don’t mean a teenager, I mean an elementary age child?

A 9 year old in inner city/urban America translates to 15-17 in suburban years and I'm going conservative here if anything.

9 year old children in the cities are well exposed to sex and drugs and depravity. Going to see nihilistic death rappers in dystopian satanic imagery concerts is no big deal. Why do you crazy people think there is some evil influence in this country?

Eh? No. Demonic themes have been used by countless bands and artists over the years.

True. Which is why I kind of wish the focus would be on the history of violent events in connection with this’ artist ‘ instead of the other stuff.

IMO, it is not necessarily an either/or equation. That Scott shrouds his concerts and stage persona in bizarre occult symbolism should not necessarily be compartmentalized from the reality that Scott likewise promotes nihilism at his own concerts. Indeed, I’d suggest there may be more than a casual connection at play here.

I get that, even though I’m not really concerned with it at all because I don’t really follow the artist. It seems few here do, but now at least they know his name. When I was a kid the band KISS used all sorts of theatrics as a part of their show. It never concern me either way because again I wasn’t a fan per se, but it didn’t bother me one bit. ( and stop right there before anyone tries to connect dots… It’s just an example. )
