The hook’s too shiny. Let’s get to that later, and I promise we will, in good faith.

I agree. But broadly, we all want everyone to have access to healthcare that’s affordable and of some degree above average quality. We want people to be able to buy that new car and invest in that new business.

It’s not as though we’re arguing from one side or another that healthcare should suck, and on the other that it should be good.
Some things like what you just provided, yeah, we agree on in principle just just disagree on how to achieve it. There are lots of issues people fundamentally disagree on in this country, though, and these disagreements are rooted in conflicting opinions of what is "best" for the country.

I have a feeling more dems are gonna be spouting this bullshite as Spygate continues to unfold.

Too late to bend the knee ya filth. Trump's coming, and he's bringing Hell with him.

Anyone up for trying that? Normal discussion between liberals and conservatives on the merits of policy?

I've tried this one

Good luck. You're gonna need it.

It’d be nice to get back to discussions on why this or that tax code works best; which approach to various foreign states is most efficacious.

I'll be happy to debate ideas anytime, anyplace.

Facts not in evidence. Sorry.

locking up Hillary or Obama don’t do us a lot of good.
If they broke the law (and we know at least one of them did), proceeding on unfettered, without any consequence sends a future message about being above the law. That doesn’t "do us a lot of good" either.

My concern about it is that making the return of hostages in the way it was done sets a table for future hostages:

So turning over 5 high value fanatical terrorist leaders for one cowardly commie deserter is a better way of doing things in your mind then? That won't "set the table for future hostages"????

wow.

I'd wager most everyone in this country wants what is best for America. We just disagree on the definition of "best"

I reject this premise. I think there is a large coalition at the top that wants to reduce prosperity for all but themselves to make it easier to govern and control the populace. The same people that are trying to push white privilege are doing so in light of the belief that Western civilization and American Exceptionalism are inherently evil and oppressive.

I led with those people because they’re the least useful to talk to on the board.

I can’t be bothered to talk about who’s eating who on a secret island because they’re lizards.

I also ignored the Sandersistas and socialists, who I have no interest in talking to. The idea that socialism is going to work in the United States, as a world leader, is ridiculous. Free, regulated markets and free trade with US influence on policy are going to be far more useful for the average worker and businessperson than anything Bernie Sanders has to offer.

majority of americans love america and want what is best for the country. The difference is what they define as best.

I'm sure you do want to do that. Unfortunately, the criminal actions of your party aren't going to just be ignored. It is going to be pursued.

You don't get to try and overthrow the government and then, when it gets uncovered, decide we've bickered enough and should get back to doing the jobs of politicians.

Your party already decided that policy discussions and honest politics is out. And, people in your party, and to be honest, people like yourself who have supported that party, deserve to be punished.

And I'm sorry, they've pretty much poisoned the well.

What? You want to talk to me AFTER you said the only way I can believe basically ANYTHING I believe is if I'm a hateful bigot?

Sorry. You're gonna have to go to your corner for a few minutes and have a time out.
