Long ago during Military Police School there was a lot of instruction and discussion about the lawful application of deadly force in non-combat situations. If you followed an order to kill that was later ruled unlawful, you could not use the plea that you were only following orders. A workaround was to manipulate the situation so that lethal force would be judged to be appropriate. That was a very sobering series of classes.

Correct. If you're in the military and you have opinions, you keep them to yourself and stfu and do the mission at hand. The Commander in Chief is your ultimate boss, like it or not.
If you disagree that adamantly, leave asap and get honorably or dishonorably discharged. Even then, you should STFU until a later date.
Too many people think everyone else cares about their little individual opinion.
