Would Violence be part of your description?
The Democrats call the 6th an insurrection but by definition, I am having a difficult time agreeing it was "violence against the government"

It was a shameful time for our country and truly hitting the bottom of the barrel but no I wouldn’t really call it violent (although there were moments of that) and especially not an insurrection.
I guess the best description would be a "mostly peaceful protest".

A throng of tourists take mostly peaceful and unaccompanied tour of Capitol building and one poor tourist was shot dead.

I wish people would quit trying to excuse 1/6. People (our people, conservative people) behaved very badly. Was it as bad as the dimocratix and the media made it out to be? Certainly not, but it was bad. It was despicable, in fact, and the dimocratix will use that incident as ammunition against conservatism for the next 30 years or more.

This is true, but with whom are they really making any "gains" by pitching their manipulated narrative? IMO it's merely their own choir. I don't think that they're gaining any net advantage with their games, and to the contrary may well be turning some previously sympathetic people off.
