Alcohol or guns, which would you choose? Obviously a bad mix when they are together, but if the government took it this far, what would you do?

Alcohol, because there would still be drugs.

Alcohol should be the obvious answer.

You could take someone else's alcohol with your guns.

I've had two beers in my 28 years of life. Both to lend support in a celebratory setting.

Won't miss a thing if I can't match those two beers over the next 28 years.

No one is taking my guns.

Alcohol is the easy choice. I barely drink as it is.

No hardship there, alcohol. Don't drink anyway!

Guns, because technically, I only have one gun at home, and it's not the one I would use to shoot your arse if you invaded my house....

Since you are talking about the govt taking it away, my choice would be to give up guns.
I could always buy the gun I needed on the black market and have confidence it would work.
Buying illegal hootch is dangerous.

I'd give up sex.

Women are pains in the arse and I can survive with masturbating until Japan comes out with the robots.

Alcohol is not protecting me and my family so it would be the one to go.

Alcohol. Relatively easy to manufacture yourself if need be and almost impossible to stop.

As far as personal choice, I'd rather give up guns because I'm not a gun nut.

Constitutionally and philosophically I'd rather give up alcohol.
