Would you rather Trump become a dictator and accomplish everthing he promised or have someone like holder, booker or pocahontas win presidency.

i'd prefer the republic to remain intact. i think America would survive having one of the above as president. I don't think it would survive very long if we abandoned a representative system of government for a dictator. doesn't matter if it's a dictator you agree with.

Why not just hold president accountable for campaign promises?

POTUS Trump is showing that promises can be met without him being a dictator.

If those are the only two options, Trump can be dictator for life.

I'd prefer to keep things the way the are, though.

I would rather Trump continue to follow on his promises, and then vote for another candidate he will align with come 2024.

Hell no.

I'd take Fauxcahontas every day and twice on Sunday over a dictator, no matter how "benevolent."

But that's exactly what would happen if these socialist crazies get elected.

My first reaction was keep the Republic, but after SCOTUS ruled that government forcing people to buy and sell private property is constitutional, I fear we have already lost the Republic.

To put words in Franklin’s mouth, “Madam, we gave you a republic, and your great grandchildren lost it.”

It may be centuries before we see its like again.

so you would preemptively abolish our system of government rather than have a president you do not agree with? this is the problem with allowing the president to issue executive orders. you only fear what would happen with the three named because previous presidents have been allowed to abandon the rule of law.

Trump would make a terrible dictator. Here's 10 things I would have already done if I were made dictator of the US

1. Assassinated Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnel, Nancy Pelosi, and Paul Ryan.

2. Told Jeff Bezos that we're building a wall on our southern border and HE is paying for it

3. Unilaterally withdrew from both NATO and the US, kicking the UN out of New York City altogether

4. Got on national TV and announced that every person who was in the country illegally had 24 hours to report to the nearest airport for a trip home on Uncle Sam, but after that their personal safety could not be guaranteed.

5. Reminded the new Congressional leaders of each party what happened to their idiotic predecessors, and why

6. Withdrew all US troops from both Europe and South Korea, while reminding the countries in those regions that we can come back and frick them up at will if they harm our interests

7. Gather top Democratic members of Congress as well as the Mueller team together and on live TV tell them to produce even an inkling that I did anything illegal in the 2016 election and if they could the Marine standing at the door had orders to shoot me dead, but if they didn't the same Marine had orders to shoot them dead.

8. Goodbye income tax and welfare system. Might as well get rid of social security and medicare while we're at it. Simple sales tax, you buy it , you pay taxes on it, ZERO exemptions or credits. As for welfare it's simple, go to a modified UBI, if you are truly unable to work you get $2500 a month, if you can work and refuse to , you get zero, if you can work but don't earn $2500 a month, you get the difference. If you earn more than that, you get nothing, thanks for playing. This covers you from 18 to death, so once you are retired because you simply can't work, you get the $2500 a month.

If you can't make that $2500 a month stretch, too fricking bad you have made some terrible choices and must now suffer the consequences.

9 Declare George Soros an enemy of the United States and order Gen Mattis to dispatch of him by any means necessary at his earliest convenience

10. Build a 50 foot statue of myself right in front of Maxine Water's house and have it guarded 24/7 by armed Army Rangers. This really doesn't have any useful application other than to make me laugh.

Trump as a temporary dictator. He's giving chemotherapy to our government so that when he's gone, our republic will be healthier and can survive if someone like Holder was elected in the future.

I believe strongly that Trump wants our country like it was in the fifties. Everyone was proud to be an amercan, we had low crime , morals and a strong work ethic. We was respected around the world. Sadly i see no one on the democratic side that holds these values.

Try this one on for size.

You have a gun to your head and have to vote for President

Eric Holder
Loretta Lynch

no write ins

Personally I tell the SOB to just go ahead and shoot me.

He's promised contradicting things. So that's not possible.

You do understand that this just means people who can't pull in a good bit over $2500 a month will just find a reason why they can't work and collect the $2500 right?
