Oh for Fks sake.

In other parts of the country, you want to develop, you give them the people to move to the neighborhood and they access the cost of sewer, water, roads, schools, emergency services, and tell you the nut. You then add to the cost of the home.

What is this bullshite agency, credits, etc. Just another two or three layers to control and fleece throughout the process.

The post the formula for determine the tax? It sounds far fetched to me and don’t believe it for a second.

No, while it MAY exist somewhere, I didn't find it, and by the bill (passed into law last year) the recommendations for a formula are not required until this July 1.

I can't say the numbers quoted are inaccurate simply because there is nothing to say they are or aren't, but the estimates don't seem to have anything official to be based on.

For one, most of yall here have never driven daily in real traffic. Anything to disincentivize it is good.

For two, LA saw congestion decrease. They are trending in the right direction. The vote democrat get Democrat shite is wild. They are literally improving their traffic issue. Something must be done.

And before yall get high and mighty about where you live, every government in America is waiting to see what happens. If it improves traffic, it will be implemented elsewhere.

I don’t really give a frick what they do if it gets cars off of the road somehow. There are too many right now. Yes, that includes me and you.

Go ride a fricking bike.

Communism would probably work better if the government just puts everyone’s money in one big account, lets the politicians steal what they want, then divides the rest equally among everyone else. That seems fair, doesn’t it?

Improve public transportation and see cars get off the road. We need more trains from suburbs into towns that run on better more consistent schedules. Our cities are built to use cars, so unless we change how people get around there will always be cars on the road.

This has to be a joke or you are a legitimate clown with the rainbow afro wig and red nose.

Impose a new tax on people who drive and think those people will decide "I guess I don't really need to get to work tomorrow, I don't need to pick up my kid, I don't need to get groceries, because I really don't want to pay this tax" is going to take people off the road.

People don't drive around for fun. This isn't 1950 where people take Sunday Drives out to the countryside just for fun. Nobody is out on 285 for leisure. It's not recreational. It's not elective. Those miserable people on the road, "you and me included", are doing it because we have to.

So you tax people on something they have to do. And justify it by saying it will make less drivers on the road. Holy shite.

Please tell me this is a troll.

Are you kidding?

Give me a choice of a car, a plane, and a train/rail... rail is the last choice im taking.

Which is why most of these large scale projects are wastes of taxpayer money.

And yet I’m the clown.

They will find a different way to do it. That’s how you incentivize them.

Eventually the cost becomes too much and they start thinking outside of the box.

I need to get my kid to school. School is too far away and I’m being taxed to death. Solution? Move closer to the school so that the kid can walk or ride a bike.

I need to get to work. Work is too far away. Solution? Either workout a remote working situation or, again, move closer to your job.

This isn’t about personal freedoms. This is about the fact that driving in any large metro right now is close to unacceptable due to traffic.

It’s just wild to me that the thought of not driving a personal vehicle doesn’t even come up.

Ride the bus. Carpool. Walk. Ride a bike.

The obsession with cars that most of you don’t understand how they even go when you press the pedal will never not confuse me.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the mentality that will line up for the 15 minute city. I don’t need freedom of personal transportation. I can walk everywhere I need to go. Be careful that you don’t go out of your designated zone too much or they will fine you.

The US is not built for public transportation. We are big, spread out. It’s meant to be explored on your own terms.

A car represents freedom. They’re trying to take that away with taxes.

That is evil on another level

Some people in California, are registered as Democrats, as a defense against discrimination from the democratic regime in place.

This is much like most Iranians being forced to be Muslim just to survive.

People need to be freed but are sometimes afraid to do it themselves.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the mentality of someone who is insecure to the point that they're scared of any change in their lives.

I feel so sad for you that you think that every little act in the world is a direct threat to your independence.

You've been duped. A car doesn't represent freedom. Freedom is a construct invented by man. As long as you are terrified of your freedom going away, you will find a monster that is threatening to take it away.

I'm sorry you're going through life like this.

A construct?? Hahahahahahahahaha!!! A construct?? Dear Lord! Could you BE any more progressive??!!?? Construct!! Hahahahahahahahaha

Govern me harder, Daddy!! I promise not to leave my 15 minute zone! I won’t go anywhere you don’t want me to. Please watch me sleep so I know I’m safe.

Enjoy your prison…
