Okay, you're an idiot. There! I feel better now...

They don't need lawsuits.

They need a little more old school treatment

When will someone ask him how many in Louisiana are unemployed because of his decisions and how many are now in poverty because of his decisions?

I would have so much less resentment and aggravation about this if It went thru some kind of legislative process. This would, by necessity require some sort of scientific evidence beyond: “because I said so.”

I still wear the stupid fricking mask, bc all these people have whipped themselves into a needless fear frenzy about it and I see no need to cause these morons to have a panic attack. However, until it’s supported by logic other than:

1) My friend who knows a doctor says it works;
2) If it doesn’t work why do they wear it in hospitals (bc there are other reasons besides Covid that they wear them in hospitals);
3) only stupid people don’t want to wear masks
4) it’s rude not to wear masks

I reserve the right to at least complain about it.

This is political cover. If republicans don’t mandate it then the media/dems will relentlessly criticize them for not doing it. The democrats are doing it to support the narrative. So if we don’t mandate them then it will be the reason for any failure or illness. If we do wear them it creates negative optics that continue to support fear in society.

It will not practically work as we will not be able to get people to wear them correctly and use effective hygiene. The CDC openly admits this. A healthcare setting is composed of people with above average intelligence, excessive training, and appropriate resources. So yes it theoretically could help, but it practically won’t help.

Our governor gets too much criticism on here. He’s done a fine job of leading. He’s gonna catch shite no matter which way he goes with this, he has to do what he thinks is best.

He doesn't care. It's all about the Stafford Act and how much money he can squeeze out of the Feds. He even said in the press conference. I am surprised no one picked up on it.
