If we had a nice, big, beautiful ballroom at the WH no need for these events to be a risk

Outside of shutting down the whole hotel, the lobby had to stay open for guests, I assume, and that makes the checkpoint entirely too close to Trump

No need to have events like this in public if we had a large ballroom.

Capacity of the new room will be ~ 650.

This event is just under 3,000

No doubt about it. The ballroom is certainly going to be beautiful.

No. That report is wrong. It can hold 999 seated guests

You are correct, it will still be smaller than the usual 2600 who go to WHCD

Sounds like we need an even bigger, more beautiful ballroom.

From the lobby you had to ride an escalator up to another floor, no where the President

I don't have the plans and defer to you. But I'd say it's possible the ~ 1,000 refers to an event withoutdinner tables, strictly chairs.

Not worth arguing about. I agree a Hilton is a bad place for an venue for a president to be sitting around like that. Sad, but true.

Smaller is better. It makes it more exclusive.
