could we trust to do the manufacturing? I think you will see the GOPe move toward India and in the long run turn yet another country into a Super Power who will turn their backs on us.

Mexico is a disaster. It would be nice, but who would want to send their employees there?

Did the eye drops that caused blindness originate in India?

India is with BRICS. You can forget about it.

Mexico will keep our quality of life afloat a little longer.

Can't manufacturer everything here. Meds (including a different source), select important tech etc but other stuff clothes etc have to come from somewhere else.

America? We don’t need other countries. We need less regulations to manufacture here. It’s that simple. Our government is the problem and we are the solution. We just need to come together and cut out the middle man.

India's workers are dumbasses...

The Chyna workers were almost born for assembly line work.

India, not so much...

Most people don't buy U.S. now... Personally, I do not buy clothes made in China ... much of anything from China except electronics because they are sole source.

Most companies now have two tier product strategies... look at furniture, musical instruments, etc. ... I usually pay up, but most people don't ... particularly young people.

Eastern Europe for cheaper manufactured goods.

Europe already uses them heavily.

Hadn't thought about that... but it would not surprise me. Mexico makes a lot of stuff that we buy, but we can't trust them. Who did that trade agreement with them? Who updated it as President ... as a better deal of course.?

I'd be good with that... not sure about software, but everything else.

At least china is somewhat organized. Mexico has several competing cartels vying for power. Rather than child labor making pennies a day in china... there will probably be legit slave labor in Mexico, from cartels kidnapping people and literally enslaving them.

China is abhorrent, but somehow I think Mexico would be worse.
