Absentee voting has been around a long time.

The answer is obvious but neither side will do it.
Universal ID system. As in one system that applies to all states. No more individual rulings which lead to states having different rules and requirements to meet the agenda of whatever political cronies are in power.
Biometric technology has reached a point where modern cell phones have in a lesser form. Tie voting identification to DNA/eye scans/etc.
You can't rig DNA. Worse case scenario it gets corrupted and you throw it out until the person reprocessed into the system.
If you have any other form of universal voter registration of be glad to hear it.

I disagree. There have been local elections stolen with chicken.

In your estimate , how many voters could pass a basic civics test? How many voters actually make an informed vote based on the issues and use the constitution as a frame of reference... voter ID is just a start.
No argument here, I agree with you. In fact, I'd limit voting to those with actual skin in the game.
I was just pointing out that the left's position on voter ID can only have two logical reasons.
One, is that their base is too lazy or stupid to accomplish on their own, or...
Two, they want it made easier to cheat.
No other logical reason to NOT require Voter ID.

Since we visit stores on a regular basis, but only vote for President every 4 years, I think we are safe to vote.

I have been asking this question for over a month and Democrats won't answer the question.
" How are all of these mail-in votes going to be tallied in a timely manner " ?
When a person votes absentee , the envelope is opened by a worker and the signature is verified before the ballot is placed in the machine.
How many ballots were cast in 2016 ?
Trump and Hillary received over 128 million votes , that's not counting third party votes.
It's not feasible to be done properly , I guess that's what lazy Democrats want.
