That makes no sense.
Back 100 years you had to put off your home/farm work and get the horse and buggy going.
Now you just take a half hour off and drive to the polling place and vote...maybe stop off on the way back for a nice lunch.

They want to harvest votes. That’s how they flipped 6 congressional seats in Orange County California in 2018 from GOP to Dem. They want to apply the same scam nationwide.

Bingo! IMO Orange County and Cali to a larger extent is the Blueprint. A Republican will never have a say about California Law in our Lifetime. Think about that. If the Dims get this BS passed...... Well look at Cali

Nah...I'll bet Sick would be fine with someone withdrawing funds from his account by mail...no ID required. Making Sick show up in person to withdraw funds just shows how racist you are!

Why don’t people with Stick’s point of view object to all the other things in life that require an ID of some sort and why do people like Stick think having identification presents some major obstacles for Americans.

I’m yet to see the case made for identification being difficult to obtain.

You really do think most Democrats are too stupid to vote on their own, don't you?

Seriously, why can't we put a few billion dollars towards a program that will guarantee one vote per person. People saying requiring an ID negatively affects certain groups. I don't get it and Ami Horowitz has a good video on it, which I will link at the bottom.

What would be a solution other than voting in person, unless you have extenuating circumstances, and providing an ID and if you have no ID bring some mail with your address. Seems like common sense to me. Times are changing and if you think it's just going to be one side exploiting this situation (because unfortunately this will be a very easy situation to exploit) you are sadly mistaken.

In your estimate , how many voters could pass a basic civics test?

How many voters actually make an informed vote based on the issues and use the constitution as a frame of reference... voter ID is just a start.

Probably should just put off the election until it is safe to go to the polls.

In NC when I tried to vote absentee because of surgery recovery I had to get a notary witness. I ended up carrying my arse to vote Vs. the PITA of a notary witness.

Maybe for people that are elderly or sick/recovering from major surgery notaries could do house calls? I lived overseas on a military base and my absentee vote got lost and bounced back to Cuba.

Everyone forgets all of the military ballots that went strangely missing I think during the 2012 election.

Selective blindness?

It's not.
I'm waiting for someone...anyone.. to make a plausible case against voter ID.

*as you point out, ID is required for many everyday things in life and no one complains or feels "discriminated" against.*

**if everyone has the same requirement...an ID..how is discrimination even possible??**

All that.

You and I both know the gamethe left plays and it usually starts with a racial component to get people to back off fighting the fight.

The requirements are the same for all. Period.
No need to make anything “easier” unless it entails a verification process that works.
Period.

Demorats have been fixing the elections a long time with just absentee ballots. They usually “find” boxes and “lose” boxes of ballots every cycle. With mail in ballots expanded You will never have another elected conservative politician again guaranteed.

Yep. And the trunk full of ballots always goes left.

Amazing how that happens.
