Me neither, but I've never had a gang of them trying to kill me.

I haven't either.

But I've also never had a handful of cops come up to my vehicle yelling and cussing and then forcibly remove me from my vehicle.

That initial posturing would definitely put me in a Fight or Flight mentality.

Neither did this guy until he fought and ran.

You guys are the ones with the problem here.

Cops were in the wrong, dead guy was in the wrong.

You keep wanting to ignore the fact the dude fought the cops and ran.

And now we have some bad cops off the street, but still outnumbered by bad civilians.

He resisted but he didn't fight, I never saw him throw a punch, did you?

It's possible this is true.

The thugs still deserve to fry.

Cops rushing him provokes hiss flight response. It's almost as if it were by design.

FIFY

If cops bum rushed every traffic stop like that, they would be putting themselves in unnecessary danger.

Agreed but the statement in your title still could be true as well.

Yeah, they had no fear of being shot, or anything else, by the driver here.

I've seen enough of these where if they do have that fear they don't get anywhere near the perp and hide behind their vehicles. They certainly don't rush up and open the door.

often are you immediately grabbed and thrown out of a vehicle in the middle of the road?

If the description or vehicle you match is said to be owned by someone deemed dangerous do you approach gun drawn and order the person out or walk up to the window and risk being the next officer on evening news being remembered for their service. As someone who doesn’t know the information the best I can do to ensure my safety in that moment is comply and give them their 15 minute power trip.

I say this as someone that doesn’t hold up a back the blue notion and in many cases dislike authority figures. I do understand the risk involved with a stop though especially if one is considered a potential hazardous situation

All that goes out the window if the stop wasn’t legal in the first place. In my opinion they didn’t have reasonable suspicion

After watching all videos and reading of the additional rumors...this dude was fcking one of their wives. My money would be on the fat guy continuing with the hay makers while the victim was cuffed.
This kid unfortunately was dead man walking from the get go. So much emotion and rage in the beating.
Cops were just looking for a trigger to set it off. Hope the cops get put in general while awaiting trial....let the inmates restore order.

If any of that is true it would explain him resisting and running to give himself some kind of chance. If what you posted is true, he was screwed from the get go.

Do you have any reason to believe this “what if” might be true?

If that was even claimed on the paperwork, wouldn’t the police say so? The police chief has a chance to say that every day and doesn’t. The fact he did share is there was no evidence of reckless driving.

Your speculation is awfully generous beyond the known facts. It’s as bad as the dead guy was banging one of the cop’s girlfriends rumors.

What reason do you have to believe that? Do we even hear any cop call him by name or refer to him by name?
