Based on Trump's experience, when applying for a financing in New York, never estimate the value of your property. Just tell the lender to figure it out and go with that number. So they can never say you lied about the value because you never estimated a value.

It's literally deed restricted and can't be considered anything other than a private club. Even Trump doesn't dispute this. His argument is that he can live there because he's "a bona fide employee" of the club.

Damn thought he was rich?
That's what we folk do when we want to convert the garage.

Also, I thought he said only guilty people seek immunity
but there he is banging his monkey cup at the US Supreme Court.

Which, of course is the reason the NY finding was BS

Why is Florida real estate being referenced in a NY court case over NY business practices?

I am a complete dumbass on all this financial talk - but I know this case is all bullshite -> I am an expert on bullshite.

Would a bank give him a $500 million loan when the judge has already declared its only worth $18 million? You know the court is going to devalue all of his property when he tries to get loans on them too.

I believe it was alleged that he overinflated the asset value of Mar A Lago to obtain business loans in New York, but I'm not positive

Ny will just claim he scammed every bit of money he received over the $20m the government valued it.

Bank can come to his defense..but ny government will ignore the bank.

Correct. It was also alleged that he valued an unfinished building at the finished value and didn’t account for the cost of construction. Other allegations included overstating how many building were permitted on a property.

A bunch of own goals.

Only because of a technicality that he masterfully used to his credit.
