They are feckless, and why I left them. I'm a registered independent and can't stand either party.

Unfortunately we have to vote repub. There are no other options. The other option is socialism and/or communism.
...and yes that is much worse.

Totally agree. I will never vote for a democrat but if the GOP continues to let Trump down I will never cast another vote for them.
I would rather let the democrats, who I already know are my enemies, run our country into the ground instead of the republicans, who were supposed to be on our side

What an opportunity lost. Obama gets Universal Health Care done with his congress and then the Republicans can't do shite with theirs. It's an outright embarrassment and I swear I'll never forgive them.

Its a real shame.

Obama had 60 votes in the Senate for 2 years

Why is it so hard for you people to understand?

If the republicans had a 75 seat majority, they'd still be all over the fence. Look at that 60 seat dem majority. They knew tons of their fellow Senators would get voted out over Obamacare and STILL got it passed. Meanwhile the Republicans can't even get a fricking wall funded. Half of them are afraid to say they support the president on anything. Almost everything worth any substance that the president got passed when he had his republican majority was through executive order.

I don't know how anybody can see this as a successful party right now. It's run by a bunch of crybabies who are scared of their own shadows.

At least the democrats don't eat their own.

Forgive them for what...playing by Rule of Law rules and fulfilling their Oath? They know what the alternative is...most of us do; it's TOTAL abandonment of Constitutional Governance (which the Dems already have) in service to Political Ideology.

We are all pissed and frustrated, GK; I find it harder by the day to even watch the News, and imagine it unbearable after the Dems take the House and blow it up. But it may well be that that kind of insanity will be what is required for those of us who worship Constitutional Principles...to support Trump's abandonment (temporary, we pray) and take down the corrupt Deep State.

Democratic Socialists believe they are morally superior; and like the Islamists, will not go quietly into submission to what they see as an immorally egregious Ideology (Capitalism/Constitutional Principle).

Trump's win was an overwhelming sign that the GOP is out of touch. Not only did he pick up establishment's constituency, but also the elusive independent vote.

The establishment saw this and apparently thought nothing of it.

I'm pissed. The republican voting base is pissed. If the party stays the current course, watch what happens in 2020. President Biden and his Democratic congress are going to wreck shop.

What I want is McConnell and Ryan and Scalise and Kevin McCarthy and Orrin Hatch and John Cornyn to back up the president. Go get the fricking wall. Go get his back.

Instead they're just waiting... waiting... waiting...

The Democrat press machine has them scared, as always. Republicans these days live to find favor with the MSM. Since the MSM is beating this "anyone in Trump's orbit is a Russian agent or felon" drum, the RNC is too scared to get on board, even if they agree with him on various issues.

They are weak basically.

tradition in usa is not to indict sitting president. Its not law. Just traditional. However since some of his crimes relate to obstruction of justice in his own cases (constant Twitter inducing people to stonewalling Mueller), id make an exception and indict. As indictment crawls to supreme court, McConnell will help trump ease out, resigning.

Why? No way is someone usurping an incumbent president in the same party during re-election time. What else does sending your money go to?
