Illegals and minorities, health care are just a means to an end

You heard AOC. She told us she’s in charge now. Imagine giving even more power to those loons.

Don’t confuse political grandstanding with actual platforms.

When dems has total control, they couldn’t pass socialized medicine and settled for an elaborate tax we now know as Obamacare.

When Republicans controlled everything, they couldn’t find the political support to repeal the Obamacare boogeyman that they had demonized for the better half of a decade.

At worst, you’re going to see the dems ram through one or two of their leftmost policies. This is the normal political pendulum, not a sign of end times.

Lesson 1. Liberal Progressivism was popular under Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR). Communism has always tried to exert itself it America, this is nothing new.

After the Communist party failed to attract sufficient support of a free minded American public they changed their name to the Progressive Party. You know, the Party Joe Biden laid claim to over the weekend. Communist Joe.

the problem with your post is that is ignores the shift left

we're already at very extreme levels, especially for our country, historically. the DEMs always move us left and re-establish the center, and in a generation the GOP inhabits the former DEM positions

Trump and Bill Clinton are basically the same politician. today, Trump is a racist Nazi

this jump we're seeing in real time is the biggest, immediate jump left for a developed nation since possibly the French Revolution

Contrary to popular belief, the Democrats aren't stupid. Their supporters definitely are, but the people pulling the strings know exactly what they're doing, and it's right out of Trump's Art of the Deal. They're shifting the Overton window so far left that a guy like Joe Biden seems like a sensible compromise. None of these far left candidates are meant to win, just to shift the talking points so far left that a centrist voice sounds the most reasonable.

They tried it with Hillary and Bernie but they underestimated how disliked Hilldawg is.

Trump’s racist nazi criticisms are a monster entirely of his doing. He makes himself an easy target because he’d rather be called a racist nazi than lose face with the people who admire his opposition to anything resembling cordiality to the left.

With that being said, this horribly flawed politician of porn star infidelity has managed to secure a rock solid, loyal base of over 60 million voters. Why? It’s not all because of Trump’s charm. It’s because those 60 million would vote for ANY conservative over Hillary Clinton.

We’re not as far left as the media and dem primary rhetoric would have you believe.

There is NO OTHER place for conservatives to go. This is our last stand.

Slo, as a social construct, why do you think that is? I do subscribe to the notion that politics is downstream from culture. Did all those citizens "left behind" from each previous generation finally amass enough people to take the wheel?

why do you think that is?

the internet and social media being amplified by the liberal mainstream media

social media over values the extremes and the 2 sides are kind of parasites of each other creating boogeymen. the problem is that the media (And big tech) lean super left, so the extreme left (in response to the extreme right) became much more normalized

they've legit created a paradigm where if you don't utterly reject whatever symbolic boogeyman exists with all your heart and soul, you support that enemy. this has pushed out (public) moderates and created fuel for the extreme

the extreme right has similar purity requirements but they lack the mouthpieces the left enjoys

This is an incredibly lazy response that ignores a number of other variables at play.

Just look at the left people on this board. Ever notice how not one of them will stray from the herd.

None of them think for themselves. They will march straight off the cliff if their masters tell them to knowing it's the wrong choice.

The news is unreal. Realistically, is it possible for a president to be as bad as the msm portrays him as?

"who did you vote for?"

who ever knew that would be a question so complex and nuanced it could never be answered

half of them refuse to even take a position on anything other than entering a thread to distract or muddle discussion

Their whole “thing” is about trying to fool people
