If the DEMs win in 2020 with an extreme-left platform, is it all over?

i mean the out-flanking to be more progressive than each other has gotten almost the entire field into legitimate crazy town
if the DEMs can sell this insanity to the masses, is it all over?
and for all the alleged moderate-leftists on this board, don't try to act like i'm overreacting when this would be crazy for your alleged policy positions as well. the GND, college loan forgiveness, Medicare for all, abolishing the EC, etc are far-left positions and nowhere near moderate staces

I think the only thing that keeps them in any sort of check is Wall Street. When their policies cause panic and the economy tanks in speculation, it's gonna make them think twice.

Contrary to popular belief, the Democrats aren't stupid. Their supporters definitely are, but the people pulling the strings know exactly what they're doing, and it's right out of Trump's Art of the Deal. They're shifting the Overton window so far left that a guy like Joe Biden seems like a sensible compromise. None of these far left candidates are meant to win, just to shift the talking points so far left that a centrist voice sounds the most reasonable.
They tried it with Hillary and Bernie but they underestimated how disliked Hilldawg is.

bro Bernie almost beat out the chosen one. it took an insane amount of coordination from every major media outlet (not named Fox) to giving copious "donations" to every black pastor in southern states

It’s already too late. Our government has been completely compromised by socialist and our legal system just tried, and is still trying, to have a coup against a elected president with our intelligence agencies in outright sedition.

Joe said the other day that he was more progressive than any of the other candidates. If they're trying to make him look reasonable then he's fricking it up already. Let's not forget this is the guy that said he'd punch Trump in the face. The guy will say literally anything he has to in order to survive.
