how do you plan on funding these new programs? unicorn horns?
Most all of the stuff being proposed has no chance of becoming law. But that doesn't matter. It doesn't take much for the right wing propaganda machine to whip you baws into a full-blown panic attack.
Put a paper bag over your head and take a few deep breaths.

It's effective propaganda.
People under 100 iq vote.
My neighbor believed and oft repeated the one where Clinton stole 6 billion from the state Dept budget.
In fact the paperwork covering that and Kerry budget was eventually in the hands of auditors. Zero money stolen.
Not a penny.

in case it wasnt already perfectly clear, the dumb and uneducated voted for trump. and thats not my opinion, its not an insult, its not trolling, its simply reality.
but hey, "facts, not feelings", right fellas?

this thread is about how hard-left the DEM 2020 candidates have moved. you don't have to support "every program" to advocate for anti-American ideals (to get back to the theme of this discussion tree) like theft

so why have they become near universal proposals from the DEM candidates? that's literally the entire point of this thread

this thread is about campaign promises of the DEM field. where have i cited "right wing propaganda"?

Beto literally just did
quote:
after he was asked about third-trimester abortions at a Monday campaign event in Cleveland.
"Are you for third-trimester abortions or are you going to protect the lives of third-trimester babies?" a crowd member could be heard asking O'Rourke in a clip of the Cleveland event posted to social media.
"Because, you know, there's really not a medical necessity for abortion," the crowd member continued. "It's not a medical emergency procedure because physically, third-trimester abortions take up to three days to have, so…in that sense, if there was an emergency the doctors would just do a C-section and you don't have to kill the baby in that essence. So, are you for or against third-trimester abortions?"
O'Rourke told the crowd: "So, the question is about abortion and reproductive rights. And my answer to you is that that should be a decision that the woman makes."
you can't spin this into Beto somehow not supporting the legality of 3rd trimester abortions
do you want me to go through the list of other DEM candidates?

California, Oregon and Washington would not release their data or cooperate. Judicial Watch had a statement the other day that 900,000 illegals voted in California and Texas last midterms

so tedious. but fine, whatever...
do you have any idea where that quote is from? the context?
its from a 0:43 clip on on twitter.
while standing on a countertop in Cleveland, a reporter from National Review spent 30 seconds preaching and getting almost everything wrong about 3 trimester abortions, then cut Beto off after saying he was for abortion in general.
HE DOES NOT SAY HE IS IN FAVOR OF 3RD TRIMESTER ABORTION.
THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN.
NR: "Are you for third-trimester abortions or are you going to protect the lives of third-trimester babies? Because, you know, there's really not a medical necessity for abortion," the crowd member continued. "It's not a medical emergency procedure because physically, third-trimester abortions take up to three days to have, so…in that sense, if there was an emergency the doctors would just do a C-section and you don't have to kill the baby in that essence. So, are you for or against third-trimester abortions?"
Beto: "So, the question is about abortion and reproductive rights. And my answer to you is that that should be a decision that the woman makes."
and thats all we hear.
after being in the national spotlight for as long as he has been, and running in Texas of all places, do you really think THAT was him suddenly endorsing something he never had before? that look like a policy meeting to you?
quote:yes. please. by all means. i have no doubt it'll be another homerun.

well, hey, look at this, what do you think this might be? this list here? it appears to be a list of states. and oh look at that, they have numbers next to them, what do you think that might mean?
20. Oregon
17. Delaware
16. Illinois
15. Rhode Island
14. New York
12. Minnesota
11. Colorado
10. Washington
9. Virgina
8. California
6. New Hampshire
5. Connecticut
4. Massachusetts
3. Hawaii
2. New Jersey
1. Maryland
and oh, goodness, heres a second list. ohh, this ones not as nice though. those number are all very high. what do you think that might be?
30. Kansas
32. Georgia
33. Michigan
34. Indiana
35. Ohio
36. Missouri
37. Montana
38. North Carolina
39. Florida
40. Idaho
41. Tennessee
42. South Carolina
43. Oklahoma
44. Kentucky
45. Alabama
47. Louisiana
48. Arkansas
49. Mississippi
50. West Virginia
any guesses? well its the richest and poorest states in the US. the first one shows 16 of the 20 richest states, and theyre all liberal (or at least voted for Clinton last time).
the second one is 19 of the 20 poorest states. would you like to guess what else they have in common? any thoughts on who they might have voted for?
so you know how youre all bitching about "the welfare state". thats you. you are literally the welfare states, and we are the ones paying for you deadbeats.
youre welcome.

the point of this thread is the dramatic policy shift to the left by the DEM candidates
you literally just summed up the issue. Beto has never run on this issue...until he had to (now). the rest of the DEMs are in the same boat. that's why they're all promoting extreme leftist policies

you framed some hyperbolic bullshite about being un-American that doesn't' even apply to me. are you now trying to claim you don't support the expansion of the welfare/redistribution state? you don't have to support EVERY program being proposed to support stealing more from taxpayers who are already taxed a ton

tech? was it conservatives who turned social media into a moral panic after their side lost the 2016 election?
science? which side promotes guided censorship in academia? who pressured Brown to censor Lisa Littman's paper on gender identity?
and progress is probably the peak leftist dog whistle

I don't support free college, but I would support partially subsidized two year colleges and trade schools.

What else do you want to know about? I haven't followed all these proposals much yet because so far they are half-baked without much detail.
