If the age is raised, how will an 18-21 that is living alone get a gun for protection?

Over the years we have often heard about a hypothetical single woman working 2 jobs to support herself and her child almost anytime politicians discuss social policy.
If this 20 year old woman wanted a gun to protect herself and her child, how would she acquire one if the age is raised?

College apartments look juicier and juicer.

why would she need protection? We've outlawed harming women and children.

Don't live in an area where there is crime. I'm 38 and I've never had a gun.

Democrats don’t care about working class people or law abiding citizens.

What if due to the economic constraints of being a single mother won’t allow said single mother to live in a low crime area?

I don’t think people live in crime filled neighborhoods because they want to .

This law will negatively impact some of the most vulnerable among us.
Young mothers and their children.
(am I doing the liberal spin right?)

She just needs to call the police and they’ll protect her at all times.

Tell that to this Doctor in the ritzy suburbs of Connecticut. Bet he wishes he had a gun when his wife and daughter were raped and burned:
crime can happen anywhere

Answer no and give the gun to someone else would be a felony if you keep reading the form. If she has the money and a parent would buy it, I suppose a parent could give her "their" gun. If I was the parent, I would want to possess for awhile, though.
Have someone older than 21 buy them one.

The same way my wife did it when she was in college at 17, get one from their dad.

If you are buying it to give as a gift from you to someone else you are buying it for yourself.

She would likely not have a gun covered by this law anyway. Handguns are by far the most common gun used for personal defense and she would already not be able to buy one
