If Russia controls everything in the world...

Do they have the most effective government in the history of mankind? Their country has a GDP smaller than the state of Texas, yet they apparently control social media, elections in the US and EU, the leader of the largest country on earth, are a threat to take over the middle east, among with countless other things I've read.
If this "muh Russia" narrative is indeed true, isn't that an admission that in terms of "bang for your buck", our government is completely impotent in comparison?

For real. According to the left, Russia is the most influential group in the entire planet. Just a few facebook ads, and $73 grand later, they can choose teh US president.

1917 says hi. Lets see if they can survive under the current format for longer then a few decades. It wasn't too long ago it was the USSR and we see how that turned out.

It is ridiculous to even whine about Russian spending on US elections. Foreign governments have meddled in our politics since the country was founded.

Russia is basically a giant gas station masquerading as a country and the only reason why people respect them is they have nukes leftover from the Soviet Union and they have a lot of oil that Europe needs or wants.
