I think you're missing the bigger picture here. This will be attempted PR by Trump but, if Guthrie's mother is found safely, she will absolutely thank Trump and the play will be, "See? Even though he's a tyrant and he was mean to her, our perfect Samantha still thanked the Tangerine Tyrant!"

So now many reports that ‘Kidnapper’ has intimate knowledge of Guthrie’s mom’s home. Hoax? Juicy Smollett? Do they know if she had a caregiver that frequented her home?
