Of course - but Obama was the tip of the spear for a hundred years of corrupt administration with thousands of willing warriors to pursue the "agenda."

Trump was essentially the outsider who came in with NOTHING behind him but millions of common folks with common sense. And even the DC people in his own 'party' were not actively in support of his agenda.

He had a very shallow well of willing/competent candidates for ANY position - hence the turnover in Dept Heads - I suspect ambassadors were a lot lower on his list of importance than dept heads

just a thought - but I'm sure he was relying on a bunch of deep state experts in his own team for the recommendations

It's really no different than when a company hires a new boss, and that person's employees have to "train" the boss as to how they should boss, if that makes sense.

"Well, they don't know how we do things here. We just have to teach them."

Trump's having none of it. And it's pissing the workers off.

If he would have canned here before, then it would be "The overbearing woman hater didn't give her a chance". Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. The end result is Trump (and most people I know) turns a blind eye to all the intellectual hind-sighters who bet the horse after the race is over. What else you got?

Political appointees, not career officials. So like Sondland would have been fired, not Yovanovitch.

This goofy, dimwitted bastard consistently posts some of the worst takes on this site. His "Jay Cutler is a top 5 NFL QB" thread is an all time MSB failure. Some serious Dunning-Kruger going on as he seems to believe he's intelligent.

She wasn't the head of the FBI. She was in an obscure job. If you were elected President you wouldn't be able to assess the capabilities of the ambassador to Namibia until she started screwing up.

Waste of time. His "question" has been answered over and over again. Frankly, Trump doesn't need a reason, but Powertool thinks he's super sharp and can gaslight a conservative into conceding Trump fired her to cover something up.

It's beyond obvious.
