Bucky is based on this topic. And just because he doesn’t suck Trump’s cock doesn’t mean he’s a cuck. People have a severely warped friend enemy distinction on this board.

These nets are to prevent suicides at one of Apple's suppliers.

A dollar an hour pay.
No ot pay
7 day work week

This is unbridled Capitalism.

This same company lays off Americans for h1b workers at 60% of the wages.

Of course he does not say how someone is supposed to improve themselves to compete with imported labor that will work for a fraction of his income.

Find a new line of work.

Just like workers when automation comes around.

Stop it. We don't have Capitalism. 2008 should have taught you that. We have a Privatize the Profits, Socialize the losses System or Corporatocracy. H-1B Visas are another example. Importing Non Citizens to keep wages down so Corporations can make more money at the expense of American Citizens. Another way we "Privatize the Profits and Socialize the losses" Capitalism is suppose to be free market. We don't have that in America, it's a Manipulated Market

But this is what capitalism ends with. Capitalists destroy free markets.

The MAGA outreach to Labor is basically we want things made in America. That’s it. MAGA is not pro strikes or seniority protection or collective bargaining or anything else the Unions want. Most Union members realize that the Union leaders are corrupt and $90 an hour to turn a bolt on a line is unsustainable. That’s why a majority of union members voted Trump.

"Learn to code"

Oh wait... now what.

The job market is a pyramid Rog. Unskilled labor is the bottom. When you keep telling people higher up the pyramid to find a new line of work, at similar pay, eventually there are no longer jobs for them.

Your book doesn't mention this, does it.

I get it. But instead of innovation, y'all want protectionism to be the driving factor which leads to higher prices and massive inefficiencies.

The problem is government through fiscal policy is pricing the worker out of the global market. More government isnt going to make that better.

Yeah, it ended in 2008. When the government bailed out the banks and car dealerships because of bad decisions. Privatize the Profits and Socialize the Losses

To answer the question in your thread title requires us first to see what MAGA/GOP actually does with respect to labor. In Trump’s first term, the NLRB was run run in a conservative way and regulation was eased. On balance, very pro-freedom compared to the preceding Obama years. I have not heard anything to suggest that will change. The big issue today seems to be one of attempting to have more manufacturing done here rather than abroad. This will prove a tough but to crack, but it’s not inherently anti-freedom. As for immigration, you simply must have some controls, and I have no problem with tightening immigration—especially the illegal variety—given where we’ve come from. In short, I see how having two decidedly pro-Labor parties could be bad for the cause of freedom, but I don’t see see the actual policies coming to fruition that will cause significant harm.

As I said yesterday, and you refused to respond to; You want billions of people worldwide competing for American jobs, which has the natural and obvious result in lower wages and a reduced quality of life.

The bold part is the debate, as I said last night.

I don't think this would occur, as it would create more revenue/profits for R/D and investment into further developing our economy. This means more/better jobs and a higher SOL.

We have seen the opposite unfold, in places like Russia, who have experienced a lower SOL/PCGDP.
