Perfect litmus test

There is clear video of David Dorn’s murderers. They have masks, but they are distinguishable enough. Let’s see if the black community comes through and gives the Dorn family justice while healing the community of five murderers.

That's just an open statement.

Don't make this about then entire black community. Most black people are good folks. They want the police in their neigborhoods. They aren't the ones that are bitching and complaining. It's the criminals and liberal crackers causing the stink.

Looting and burning are taking place all over the country and the principal participants are shown to be the same minorities that shout and scream for "Justice". They have no desire for true "justice" as in order for justice to be achieved it must be achieved universally and equally. If true justice were achieved, then ALL of the rioters and looters would have to be made to pay the legal penalty for their activities. This is not what they want, they simply want to be free to live their lives as they see fit without interference from any form of civil authority. They want to be fed from the public trough which is then constantly replenished by the confiscation of the assets of others while they themselves continue to live a life of crime.
In reality, JUSTICE is the last thing that they want and race relations are being set back by many many years by their activities.

Do they?

Judging by the outcomes of the riots, they wanted free electronics, clothing, housewares etc more.

9 year old kid shoots 8 year old

Case in point. 9 year old kid finds a gun and shoots his friend not realizing it’s loaded. No one will talk to police.

“We think this boy who shot the other is going to need help, and we’re working towards that goal,” Deters said. “There’s nothing about this except to help the kid get through this.”

“Somebody did do something wrong here,” Deters said. “When you have a 9-year-old who did this and is the only one to demonstrate courage in this situation, it’s pretty disturbing.”

I'll engage on this because I think it's a good question assuming you're asking it in good faith, which I will do for the moment.

I think your phrasing "if blacks want justice..." has an embedded inference that there is something we need to do which once done will offer us more congruent treatment by authorities. You're going to get three immediate challenges to this.

1. Crime is down by several orders of magnitude over the last 30 years. What level would it need to get to before we meet the standard that allows for justice?

2. About 20ish% of black folks in America live in poverty, a good portion of them children. Pick any dangerous city and I guarantee you that most of the violent crime is occurring in small, tightly defined geographic pockets -very 80/20 rule. Which is to say most black folks don't actually live in the neighborhoods where most of the shite goes down. So most black people aren't going to really be seeing much to say anything.

3. There are many black folks who are going to have a very American reaction to the idea of having to earn their way into constitutional protections that other people get for free.


I grew up in New Orleans East, which in the 80s and 90s was a pretty very boring middle-class area. That people were killing each other in the projects uptown had absolutely nothing to do with my life in any way other than that as a teenage I got thrown against a wall and frisked from time to time because that's just how policing worked in Nola in the 90s. Just my $0.02
