That's what I've always said. Bake the cake, make it awful. If they bitch, give them 20 dollars back.

The answer was never to deny the gays. It was to charge them $100,000,000. Pay up or move on.

I don't understand why it's such a big deal. Just bake the cake and do a good job. You don't have to agree with the philosophy of the person you're serving. It's just business.

If it's a custom service with novelty decorations, you should be able to refuse for any reason at all.

If they are buying a standard cake that's for sale from a case....sorry, but that's retail and you can't refuse to sell it to them.

I agree with this mindset, generally. But I can't speak for others.

I believe in free-association. The civil rights act removed that fundamental right.

If they do that, there's no reason to let you know that they are gay. So they are unlikely to do that.

Because they have an agenda. Do they really need to proclaim their sexual orientation when ordering said cake? Or could it be something else they have in mind?

Even making it saying here’s to the two fruits is still agreeing to making it.

I don't see how those things are equivalent. I'm in favor of history and leaving those monuments in place. I think people should learn from the past.

The issue with the cake, to me, is a matter of integrity as a businessman. I would rather close up my shop than intentionally do bad work.

You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. The bakers never refused to bake a cake for the homosexuals. The argument was over creative art adorning the cake. They refused to create icing sculptures of homosexuals fondling each other.

Do you think they should have to? Should a Jewish baker be forced to decorate a cake, for a Muslim, that has a Jihadist beheading an Orthodox Jew? How about an African decorating a cake for a Klansman? Maybe a lynching to be depicted?

And if this is all okay with you, what about an artist being commissioned to paint something obnoxious? The point is that an artist should have the right to depict whatever he wants to.

There are too many options to have a cake made by someone that doesn’t want to make it

There’s likely a gay baker or 100 in every city.

Go to them.

The gays doing this are pulling a stunt to punish Christian business owners.

That’s what this is about.

You’re right, it’s not a big deal, find someone that is willing to bake you a cake.

It’s not the agreeing or disagreeing the “philosophy.” Its something they feel infringes on their religion to make a cake for a celebration of something their religion says is wrong…..

Then kindly take your just your business somewhere else…cause it wasn’t just about business to them…it was about supporting the celebration of gay marriage that was against their religion

It’s not about morals, buddy. I don’t blow dudes because I have morals; I don’t blow them because I don’t want to. Yuk!
