These Boomers are well beyond that and are the only group I’m seeing mass protesting right now. Hopefully that’s healthy where Gen Z is now more focused on having fun, getting laid, and starting families.

You post like you don't realize that it's the oldest two generations that have been the most reliable vote for Republicans the last several election cycles. Living up to the old saying about people getting more conservative as they get older, Gen-X is now more Right than Left.

You don't think it was young voters that got us Obama x 2 and Biden?

The people that we're telling you to go to college were the same people who understood the US industrial/manufacturing sector was being offshored to China starting in the 90's. As far as learning a trade you said you had good Boomer parents. My Greatest generation dad made sure I could use hand tools, do basic repairs on an automobile, some carpentry skills, etc.

Here's how a Boomer (this Boomer) handles the replacement of a deck.

He calls 4-5 contractors for a bid, finally gets one contractor to show up, contractor gives outrageous price to replace deck......Boomer says, frick that shite, calls a couple of buddies and they do the work themselves

Again, there’s a difference between individuals and groups. There are many millions of wonderful Boomer parents who want to give their kids a better life than they had, I’m just saying there’s a disproportionate amount of Boomers that aren’t about that at all and are all into greed and gluttony.

Probably more about 60-65% of Boomers.
~60% nitwit.
You quoted that ~60% cohort (with no cited source btw) and attributed a small majority of the 60% you singled out as somehow indicative of the full group, notwithstanding actual election results.

Voting for the likes of George Bush and Dick Cheney? I’m a libertarian, so no I think you fricked us on those votes.

I technically am a Boomer, 65, and know no one who thinks or acts like those guys. The ones I know are mostly very conservative, hard working, family-oriented, and fiscally responsible.

Isn't it amazing, NC_, how Millenials always blame someone else for being failures?
None, not a single one I know, fits that stereotype. But it seems the majority of millennials here do blame someone else for their failures.

I’m just saying you are full of shite and have no idea wtf you are talking about.

You sound like a demented old bastard.

I’m a late 50’s boomer and I do not conform to any of the bs you are rattling on about.

ETA: by late 50’s, I mean born in.

It’s the old hippies. The tail end boomers are more like Gen X. Got disgusted with the hippy freaks.

Maybe, but the overriding point is he wasn't a legit option. It was going to be Bush or those two liberals.

But the point of my post was it's the older voters, now including Gex-X, that vote against the whackjob Leftists the younger generations get (majority) behind. I think Kamala was such a retard that she lost a lot of young voters, but we'll see how they vote next time around. Hopefully they remain anti-Left.

And Boomers still have no idea on why they’re the single dumbest and most loathed generation. An entire generation of selfishness that fricked the previous generations by throwing them in third rate nursing homes and fricked over the future generations by putting their good times on cheap credit that their kids will have to pay off instead of them.

This is a prime example of that generation still watching legacy TV lies.

Who ? The OP or the idiots in the picture.

I'll go with both. The idiots in the pic are burnt out hippies born 1950 to 1960.

And the OP is a lazy, moronic, envious broke divider that probably has never worked a single job longer than a year. No way anyone with that attitude and anger can work with others.

A lot of young people have no clue that in the 70’s, we had interest rates well over 10%, long gas lines, because of gas shortages, and massive inflation. No one blamed the generation before us. We just buckled up our boot straps and went to work.

Some of you are so weak that you need someone to blame your predicament in instead of working, and thinking your way out of your problems.
