I always used to enjoy seeing that statute in my Dallas days long ago. I'm glad I took a moment to view it last summer when flying in and out for work. If I recall correctly, the inscription was something like "One Riot, One Ranger."

Yep.
There is a spirit of shame being used through the whole “white privilege/racism” narrative. It is being brokered not by people who want real reconciliation and relationship but through those influenced by the demonic. It will be used to foment more hatred and then a greater demand for political correctness. And this spirit of correctness will be never be satisfied not will those who are influenced and controlled by it.

Anyone who believed that is blind, naive and stupid as hell.. It was never about "evil" Confederates as they claimed, it was a stepping stone to their eventual goal of removing all symbols from our nation's founding so that they could start the massive reeducation program. The removal of Confederate symbols was the beginning of the snowball rolling down the hill effect.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're joking here. If you're not, then I suggest you read a fricking book, because your post is colossally stupid.

George Floyd had a near 50-year history which includes episodes of meth use domestic violence and criminal activity. Can we get rid of his memory because of that? Simple question.

You were the guy angry about the use of the term fascism because of its historical context, correct?

That statue was featured on the Super Bowl episode of “Peyton’s Places.” That was where Lamar Hunt and Tex Schramm agreed to rendezvous to talk about a championship game between the AFL and the NFL.

How about a statue of a Ranger kneeling at the feet of Floyd kowtowing and with an audio begging for forgiveness of past privilege.

Disgusting, shame on Texas, a damn shame! I never thought I'd see Texas run in fear from the mob.

We have a third-world regime forming. Erasing history. American version of the Taliban. This will not end well. Sadly.

Anyone who ever thought that was a singular momentary issue.

I don't think the statue should be removed. The Rangers of the past 100 years are not the Rangers of 1830 to 1860. But in all fairness, from 1830 to 1860 they were essentially an Indian hit squad. Loosely organized group of guys who signed up to kill Indians.
