What people? The guy who was shot by ICE had been "let go" by Austin? What's his name?
Shooting someone is against Texas law. I'm sure the ICE agent has good defenses (self defense, performance of official duties, etc.). Why shouldn't Texas law enforcement investigate?

they can investigate all they want, but we know for sure that at a bare minimum the head honcho in charge of the city of Austin’s investigation was just on TV telling us the outcome of said investigation from the future

Could be. You think the Fed investigation of the Pretti shooting (if it's ever concluded) doesn't have a predetermined conclusion?

I agree completely. Local law enforcement has helped tremendously in our town, without incident.
I'm just saying that Austin is going to investigate a shooting in Austin.

It likely does as well, but I’d refer you back to my first post for who should be held responsible either way. It being a good or bad shoot is irrelevant to me at this point and I honestly didn’t even look into Pretti’s very much to form an opinion.

ICE is not as well-trained as most law enforcement for its particular activity. Their traffic stops, for example, violate protocol and procedure that are employed by the more respected agencies.
