Ah, so some illegals are okay if they affect his buddies’ business interests. Complete bullshite.

Obtuse

Some adjustments were BOUND to be made. Major shake ups in the work force cause short term and medium term pain, but you don’t want a cascade of short term and medium term disruptions that can cause a recession or worse.

I don’t know why these industries were selected. You say it’s because of cronyism and corruption without any evidence. I think it’s likely that these jobs were picked because they are SO dependent on illegal alien workers, and/or their disruption would cause the most immediate negative impact, where margins are razor thin.

Ahhh, it’s the too hard excuse. You’re telling me we can’t round up 2,000 illegals a day?

Obama deported 3 million.

We could, but you see all the speed bumps in the way? This was predictable. It takes a long time to deport someone.

No, he didn't. They changed the definition of deportation such that any encounter along the border was considered a deportation. He was a fraud.

So pretty much Bush/Obama era policy of focusing on new arrivals and criminals just on a larger scale due to the influx allowed by Biden?

We were never deporting 3 million. Maybe, maybe it would have been 1.2 million. Now, maybe 500,000 at most.

So, less than half of Biden's number.

like the idea someone expressed above; create a temporary work visa, give them 60 days to apply for it. They have to be sponsored by an employer and have at least a five year history of employment. These, and their dependent spouses and children are then legal and protected. Throw everyone else out.

Reasonable....but all of.these ideas should've been studied and a policy direction decided on and communicated cleary prior to implementing the current deportation efforts.

Biden's number wasn't real. They didn't deport any number of significance. They let in 8 million or so.

Okay. Double Biden's number. Makes no difference, would still be a massive failure.

I don’t like this at all - but all of yall would be pissed if you went to a hotel and the room was trashed or you don’t have food in the grocery store

Lots of moving parts to all of this.

As long as miller is there I’m not worried about immigration

Yes it is. You just didn't know it.

Donald Trump told MAGA what it needed to hear, and MAGA was ecstatic to hear it. What you're seeing now was the plan all along.

Im not disagreeing with you. Im in favor of deporting every single illegal and slashing welfare such that those frauds have to take the "jobs Americans wont do."
