Almost none of this happened.

Do you know how often citizens are unlawfully detained by the police everywhere around this country? It happens all the time. Like every day and in every state.
sure. if there's a bank robbery and i'm running down the street, i can see getting detained
if i'm sitting in a restaurant having lunch and get tackled by a masked cop just for being brown skinned, that's some bullshite

Sorry you don't like it. Actually, no I'm not. I don't give a frick if you like it or not.

Cops aren’t tackling people sitting at a restaurant for being brown skinned

ICE agents wrongfully detained U.S. citizen in Minneapolis

Imagine believing that is occurring? Lol childlike emotions

I stay pretty quiet on the immigration issue because most are two faced about it.....or downright ignorant like yourself. But ICE harassment of citizens naturalized and native born is happening.
But. I suppose you trust the government to get away only violating some people's rights.
So a little violation of some people's rights is OK so long as the cause is just in your eyes?

You were not wrongfully detained. You were rightfully detained for the amount of time necessary for the police to figure out what happened. Maybe it took them longer than you think it should have, but not everyone is a member of Mensa.

MENSA membership apparently is not a prerequisite for working at ICE, that's for sure. If reports are accurate, knowledge of the law pertaining to overall enforcement procedures is a mere suggestion. Also any type of a uniform physical fitness standard for recent recruits.

What do you contend is false?
Be specific please.
I contend that the quoted portion below is 100% horseshite. I further contend that his need to add this to the story indicates that the actual events behind this alleged detainment were not sufficiently traumatic to earn the desired victim points, making this ridiculous embellishment necessary.

"I asked them, 'can you take me back to where you picked me up from?' They said 'no, you have to walk in the snow,'" said Mubashir.
I'm surprised they didn't take his shoes from him before sending him out to walk home in the blizzard.

I have zero percent faith this story is entirely true but even then youve got to break a few eggs to make an omelet. We aren't gonna deport millions without the occasional mix up or whatever. Just like with every other administration prior to this one. What's bizarre is watching all the people who lived through those administrations pretend like this never happened before, when it absolutely did. Just like the whole kids in cages lie about how it was a Trump think when Obama actually started it. You can always tell youre dealing with a moron when they immediately believe whatever snippet they are spoon fed and immediately react just like the sheep are expected to react.

You're going to be called an illegal-loving liberal but you're right. It's been decided that the rights of innocent citizens are worth violating if it means catching more illegals, and it's not something we should be comfortable with. And again, this board is working in binary choices so either you want the illegals gone and people just have to deal with unlawful detainment, or you love illegals and wanted Queen Kamala to be president. No middle ground for logical thought where we work with a scalpel instead of a machete
Edit:
Right as I'm hitting submit,

What if the legal system worked this way? What if we put a bunch of innocents in jail just to make sure we got the criminals? What if a bunch of people had their 2nd amendment rights stripped just to make sure no felons got their hands on guns?

Mubashir said, and was later released after being allowed to show his passport hours later.
Still waiting to see an example about US Citizens being deported since it happens soooooo much according to the left. Kids who are taken with their illegal parents are not deported. Their parents are deported, not them.

There is no middle ground, we were given two choices. Trump is trying to correct decades of neglect vs flooding the nation with millions more so you claim you are for an imaginary “middle ground” when there isn’t one and it’s the same posters who complain about everything Trump does

the vast majority of this board is white and thus will never have to worry about this happening. it's also sprinkled with quite a few racists who enjoy this happening to brown folks, regardless of citizenship
yet they'll be the first to cry about how hard it is to be a trump supporter or that they're being (((hunted)))
sad!

Know why it won’t happen to this Honky?
Because I’m not illegal and do not hang out with Illegals.
Don’t want to get scooped up? Stop hanging out with illegals.

that’s a leap.
Yep. I must be racist because I pointed out that people are unlawfully detained every single day in every state around this country. It's an unfortunate side effect of having to have a police force. And also our politicians allowing this by ignoring the constitution and allowing the police to detain people with "probable cause."
