I know I get carried away on here sometimes and other times I'm just poking the nest of the resident libbys.
What can I say? I love my country and what condition we leave it in.
Hell, as much as I can't stand Obama politically I've said numerous times on here I'd love to have a beer with the guy.
Heck, I bet even me and my stalker 56 could have a few laughs talking SEC football.

See that's the thing....neither side really cares about the other at all, at least not in the context of politics. It's all about winning arguments and "being right", particularly on the internet, damn the consequences. Everyone is going to have to stop having that mindset or it will never get better. I don't exclude myself from this either. So many people troll now that a lot of people are constantly riled up and demonizing the party they aren't affiliated with. I think a lot of folks just weren't ready for the internet.

exactly. my brother is a shite-stirrer and gets on FB and posts outrageous stuff and it whips up my cousins into a frenzy.
at least i keep my political hacking to a mostly anon messageboard. i know their view on things. one cousin is literally moving to germany as we speak b/c of trump and i'm just going to let him figure it all out himself. we all know where we stand politically.
