That's not the biggest issue though for Trump. The biggest issue is Trump MUST win Georgia and Arizona but that's going to be almost impossible considering he has taken multiple massive dumps on the heads of Brian Kemp and John McCain. There are a solid 5 percent of voters that will vote against him forever based on that and I don't know how Trump can change it.
So if you can show me a map that Trump wins without Arizona and Georgia or if you can explain how that 5% of voters that love Kemp and McCain and hate Trump will change their minds I'm all ears. Hell Trump was STILL taking digs at McCain in his new book just to be an arse. BTW, I hate McCain but I also recognize there are a lot or Republicans, especially in AZ, that love the guy and always will.

I remember some talk about this and it was debated whether DeSantis could override what was happening in some of these south Florida areas - I'm with the OP here in that DeSantis' order gave too much leeway to the locals to abuse their constituents. It was very much discussed here in Florida that he left too much of a loophole in that order.
Trump could have forced this issue by firing the CDC morons, firing Fauci, listening to the Barrington people among others, and issuing an EO to open up the country so that each governor would have to defend anything draconian. The covid measures from Fauci et al were in direct opposition to every established guideline that had been developed over many years. In the end, as he did for four years, Trump wilted to the beltway.
