Fascinating. Haven't seen this breed of idiot in the wild very often. Typically, they hide in reality TV shows.

I feel like I'm studying you to discover how this happened

ROFLMAO

Then why do you have 4 downvotes at the time of this post?

I'm not melting, I'm laughing at the ignorance on display here.

It's honestly sad.

Just so we are clear, you guys are holding on the formal definition of a monopoly even though antitrust laws and other anti-monopoly laws/regulations landed that in the ditch a long time ago?

Also are we just ignoring the regional monopolies that most telecoms have created through local and state regulations?

Well if you break it down like that... All data is binary... There arent different types of data at the physical layer. Electrical signals of standard voltages interpreted by devices as 0s or 1s.

Edit: some of the signals are optical these days.

Do you always talk about things you do not understand as if you are an expert?

I'll admit. Honest mistake.

That doesn't mean I'm wrong about the concept that giving ISP's control over what sites are allowed to load on your screen is a bad thing. It doesn't mean that my misgivings about consolidation, geographic monopolies, and collusion in the entertainment, newspaper, and telecom industries are misplaced.

You think I'd still be posting in this thread if I gave a shite about downvotes? I'd just duck out of the thread like Toddy or awant.

I just find it sad that people in here are arguing about net neutrality, but don't even understand the industry, technologies, or basic economic principles they're arguing against.

Very Low T indeed.

I thought it useful to provide the official definition. Nothing more

What's yours

That last post I made was wrong. The whole point of the post you quoted from me was making the point that this board simultaneously wants to (1) fight globalists and (2) let globalists censor their fight against globalists.
