Congrats buddy! Glad you think LA is in good hands. I wanted someone else for four years and see what happens. Guess we’ll get John B.

Every Catholic pro life organization rates him 100 percent pro life and he got that rating in 2008 his first year in the legislature . I have seen him for years at Sunday Liturgy (Mass) for years when he would attend the parish I go to, from what I know usually goes to the Cathedral, so vote against him fine, making false accusations not so good

Uh huh. He didn't though. He mostly ran on loud platitudes with broad appeal but without much substance behind them. He didn't get into nitty gritty details. It was about big ideas and sound bites that appealed to people. Build the wall! Mexico will pay for it! Lock her up! Drain the swamp!

You can try to deflect any way you want but your own logic would have you voting for Hillary. You didn't know who Trump was. He'd never been in office, he'd switched parties multiple times and been a Democrat for several years. He'd displayed several moments of low character. You knew who Hillary was though! Derppppp.

Yeah, you really stuck it to him!

Oh wait, your pettiness sold out your fellow countrymen

Open borders - wth does that have to do with a La. governor's race?
Higher taxes - How about balancing the budget?
Gun confiscation - flat out lie
Limited free speech - another complete lie.

WTF are you even talking about?

Trump constantly put platforms, plans, and stances on his website.

His main pitch was "we are going to build a wall, and Mexico will pay for it."

He may have failed in execution, but that is as substantive a stance as one can have.

To have a modern economy u need human capital, which we lack , only 24% have college degree, 247 wall in an article in the advocate talked about that. Jindals 8 years did not change LA. I think it was published in July this year. Our economy as it always has been is tied to oil and gas and petro chemical industry . natural resources are one important factor for sustained economic growth , but u also need Human capital , ie work force that is educated and well trained and u need infastructure . Jindal killed education and did nothing for infastructure.

LA GDP hit record under JBE. the advocate this morning in business section indicated that per Capita income in LA increased almost 6% in 2017 and 2018. job growth is slow, which probably means current workers are getting OT and bonuses and are more productive , all good things .

but for optimal GDP u need 4 things 1) personal consumption which relates to income and spending 2) business investment 3) government spending 4) net trade. So with respect to 3 there is an optimal level of Goverment spending relative to the other 3 factors. I am not saying JBE policy is optimal as he has had only 4 years, what I do know is Jindals 8 years of gutting education was sub optimal.

We need to keep talent in LA, then find ways to attract it from outside. That is how we move the needle for LA, economically.

Neither candidate has a plan to do either.

Catholic Church rating anything doesn’t mean shite to me. I wouldn’t trust one catholic leader to help me make a political decision.
