This is what I voted for! No more radical Barack Hussein Obama Sr.'s let into this country. Too bad this policy wasn’t in place in the early 60s.

I dont know. African immigrants are great contributors to this country. They aren't here for welfare. The typical African immigrant is more well off than the average white person in this country. I dont think they are the problem.
I would say this is a true statement for those that immigrant to the US for academic reasons (i.e scholarsips) and for their first generation kids. This, albeit selected, group achieves academically at a very high level.

One of the guys ahead of me was from Ethiopia (super talented), basically told me they only have a limited amount of resources for education and they triage the top 50% of students give or take. So if you show promise, they invest in you, if you don't you dont make it past elementary school.
This is absolutely correct, but the 50% number is way too high. Its much lower. If you aren't top 10%, you aren't going to have any academic opportunities. And there isn't any nonsense like womens studies and shite over there. Its all science, engineering, etc.

The talented few are surrounded by imbeciles that drag them down and if they manage success all their relatives and neighbors will steal from them.
How is that any different from a kid growing up in Appalachia?

My experiences have been with Sudanese, Nigerian, Ethiopian and South African and range from college through my career in engineering. All of them I dealt with were hard workers that aligned with traditional american values of doing work and having strong families
Your experience was same as mine with different results. I have run off or fired all but 2 Nigerians I ever had work for me. If asked to perform a task, no matter what that task is, they will claim they know how. They never ask for help when stumped and it quickly becomes apparent they never actually knew the task at hand. Worst FFS guy I ever had was Nigerian.

More spots for actual Americans.
Any single American that wants to go there and can afford it should be accepted before any foreigner.
This is just common sense.

Common sense says colleges (especially private) should accept the smartest applicants.
Not DEI applicants from Appalachia who would struggle with the curriculum.

He was talking about like junior high to highschool level education. not university level STEM programs

Except when it's not. None of the hotel staff that worked at the Protea in Joburg were actually South African black, they were from somewhere else.
