There's already "buts" to the 2A now. Gun free zones are a "but". Limited magazines are a "but". Background checks are a "but". Many more "buts".

So your argument is that because politicians and Fudds have spent the last 8 decades inserting all of those "buts" that more should be accepted rather than working to block further erosion and work to remove more of those "buts" (which, if you brainless Fudds could be bothered to pay attention is exactly what's been happening in the last 15 years)?

Just stop with this tired old bullshite.

Am I right or wrong?

Not gonna argue the second point since it's tied to opinion.

You're wrong and yours is the attitude that is part of the problem. Uninformed gun owners are just as bad as gun-control advocates.

How am I wrong? You people are acting like gun rights have never been touched.

I listed 3 examples. How am I wrong?

I'm not arguing about anything else.

So because the chances are slim now that means they will always be that way? Short-sighted, myopic argument but typical for you.

Wrong, the argument is that current level of infringement is too much. You are the one acting like just because certain restrictions exist that they should be accepted. It's a demonstration of ignorance about the history of gun-control legislation. It's ignorance about why laws concerning concealed weapons and "sporting purpose" exist at all.

He goes back to the 1100's to give examples of what he wants to be the "arms" mentioned in the 2nd A.

So that's not extreme, huh?

Magna Carta that has influenced British and American legal systems dates back to 1215. The concept of armed self-defense in legal terms is far older. You are simply ignorant.

You are all the way to stupid. You can't follow a simple discussion and respond. So instead, you routinely spout out memorized, packaged crap without any ability to relate your tripe a point being discussed.

I didn't say anything about legal systems. I specifically took issue with using examples of the arms of 1100 as having relevance to the arms being contemplated in the 2nd Amendment.

Want to try again?

Of course they have relevance. How could they not?
